“Good price, Great location”

Room was very clean, the breakfast was great, staff was friendly and prompt. My only complaint would be how hard the beds were, I asked for some extra blankets from the office and used those for some padding. Overall though, great for the price and location. We would stay there again.

“The only bad thing was that we were in a room close to the freeway. Nice stay.”

If you get the chance to choose, ask for the rooms that are not near the freeway. The hotel had great location, close to the freeway and everyone was helpful at front desk.

“Very Quiet”

Although we had a room facing the freeway we did not hear any of the traffic. Also international Rugby players were staying at the hotel and we did not hear them either. Also the breakfast room was very clean and the food very good.

“I would do it again!”

Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable. Its not a new hotel but it is nicely ran and worth the money. They serve a pretty good breakfast, boiled or scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, make your own waffles and toast, cereal, among other things. They say there is on site dining but there is not, but there is a nice place next door. A nice heated pool and hot tub! They close at 10pm but didn't kick me out at 10pm, they waiting till I was don't and didn't say anything to me. The hole California thing about paying for your parking is beyond me I guess but everyone seems to do it. Had some noisey teenagers across the way but the on site security quieted them down and ran off thier late night guest! Carpet was worn and the tv was old but nothing that would stop me from coming back again. We stayed 4 days and we enjoyed ourselfs! Oh and you have to try Pizza Bella! I have never had a pizza as good as the one they serve in this beautiful little restraunt!

“Great Place To Stay”

I had to go down to San Diego the night before my Gastric Bypass surgery at Scripps Mercy. The motel was clean and the service was great. I needed access to a microwave to heat up chicken broth. While my mother and I were out they brought us a fridge and a microwave. There is a resturant next door and lots of vending machines for guests. The pool also has a spa and a seprate kiddy pool. Also, there is a bus stop right out front. I totaly recomend this motel.

“Enjoyable Vacation Accommodations”

Room was clean & comfortable. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. One issue though, they charge $5.00 per day to park your car there and also they take a $25.00 deposit for "incidentals" which takes 7-10 days to get back. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely return.

“Clean, close, and affordable”

The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. I have never been this satisfied with an economy hotel before. I would highly recommend them and will look for other Comfort Inns when I travel. (My only complaint was that the bed was a little too hard for me and they didn't have a foam pad to help with that - but they did give me an extra blanket to soften it up. They really tried hard to make me comfortable!)

“Decent Budget Hotel”

Got good deal on expedia + weak dollar made this a bargain. Hotel service good, immediately changed room when I complained about the bed. Included breakfast standard self service. Plenty of restaurants close by. Less than a few minutes from dowtown by car or about 1/2 hour on bus and trolley [mono-rail link], which is $5 a day. Even though just off freeway was quiet, nice pool and hot tub which I had all too myself in December!

“Great hotel! Cheap! Free Breakfast! Close to attractions!”

I would definately recommend and stay at this hotel again! I looked forward to FREE breakfast every morning, waffles, fresh cheese/fruit danishes, cold beverages and more, made it worth the stay. There was a bus stop right out front since we didn't rent a car...so that was convenient. The hotel was close to several attractions including Old Town, City Tours, Downtown/Gaslamp District a 5min bus ride away. The desk staff were very helpful, always friendly and very informative. They even sold us cheaper tickets to some of the attractions including the San Diego Zoo & Legoland.
