“Good for the price, especially with unpublished rate deal”
Booked this hotel through the Expedia unpublished rates. Room was clean, staff was friendly, complementary breakfast had a lot of choices and was well stocked. Location right off the freeway and very conveniently located.
“Charged for parking at a motel ?”
This is the first motel that I have been charged an addition fee per day for parking. No where on the web site tells you that their rate does not include a place to park. Front desk service was sort of "I really don't want to be bothered" to take your business, the room carpet really needs a good cleaning. The breakfast area was one step above an outdoor picknic area.
“Good for one night stay”
Our bed comforter had thootpaste on it :( The room is quite small, my husband and I stayed in a 1 king bed room and there was a small space to walk thru the room between the bed and the tv, just ine of us could walk thru it at the time.... The bed was extremly uncomfortable. The location is great, near everything. The buffet breakfast is very convinient, not the best, but convinient.... Goog and $ enough to stay one night.
“Terible experience, don´t ever go to this hotel...!”
Worst service, asked for 2 queens and got a king size bed; after talking to tthe manager named "KUMAR", he simply said thats how the Travel Agent, Expedia, requested the room ad there was nothing they could do.
“Not good”
Overall this is an old poorly maintained motel. They charged extra to park your car, which was not mentioned in the rates on expedia. They had several pizza joints shoving flyers through the doors, which the hotel did nothing to discourage, since they did it while the cleaning staff was walking around. The cleaning staff throw away the zip lock bags I kept with my toiletries, that I use for carrying my medicine back through secuity. The walls are really thin and the hotel is loud in general. There was a complaint card left from the prior guest still in the room filled with similiar complaints.
“Excellent breakfast”
Overall Nice experience. It would be great if hotel can provide microwave oven and refrigerator in the room .
“Cramped and not maintaned”
This hotel was inexpensive but you get what you pay for. The room was tiny and not much room to move between the bed and TV stand. There were burn holes in the bed spread and a burn on the night stand. This hotel needs a do over badly
“can't wait to go back”
The location was great, close to lots of attractions.
“I would do it again!”
Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable. Its not a new hotel but it is nicely ran and worth the money. They serve a pretty good breakfast, boiled or scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, make your own waffles and toast, cereal, among other things. They say there is on site dining but there is not, but there is a nice place next door. A nice heated pool and hot tub! They close at 10pm but didn't kick me out at 10pm, they waiting till I was don't and didn't say anything to me. The hole California thing about paying for your parking is beyond me I guess but everyone seems to do it. Had some noisey teenagers across the way but the on site security quieted them down and ran off thier late night guest! Carpet was worn and the tv was old but nothing that would stop me from coming back again. We stayed 4 days and we enjoyed ourselfs! Oh and you have to try Pizza Bella! I have never had a pizza as good as the one they serve in this beautiful little restraunt!
“Very good location!”
Near freeways and just around the corner from beautiful Old Town San Diego. Great location and confort.
