“Pleasantly Surprised”

We booked the hotel, knowing it was only rated at 2 stars because it was close to the convention center. The hotel was clean, well maintained, the staff was FABULOUS. We will definitely stay again. Right off of Restaurant Row and shopping, 4-5 blocks from the Convention Center, great location. It's not the classiest place in town, but based on what people at the conference were complaining about at the high end hotels, we were very happy with our little "2 star".

“Great place to stay...”

Located in the Gaslamp District, this small but comfortable hotel was conveniently close to the San Diego Conference Center and the ocean. The room was small, but clean and quiet. The desk staff was very polite, informed and accomodating. I'd stay there again!

“All-around great value”

“Last Minute Padres Game!”

Talk about convenient, if your in town for a game and dont want to drive back same night this is a great place. Got into town about noon, we checked in parked our car and didnt drive until 11 am next day. 5 min walk from stadium,and the great thing is in the morning you get up go downstairs and there is your coffee, paper and many things to choose from if your hungry. check-out is 12 which is also nice not to feel rushed!

“Great pick!”

The location is great; just one block from the main action on 5th Street, Borders Bookstore and a multi theatre movie theatre and a short walk to the Convention Center and/or the great shopping at Horton's Plaza. The full breakfast in the morning saves you from going out. The rooms are small but the comfortable beds and down comforters make up for it. All rooms have a small fridge and microwave. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Room service brought clean towels everyday and straightened up the room. You certainly can find more luxury accomodations but the COmfort Inn met all our needs at a reasonable price. We would stay again.
