“Great weekend getaway”
Excellent for a quiet weekend getaway. A bit of a drive to dining, but very quiet, secluded location just off the interstate. Convenient to Temecula, San Diego, and Escondito. Be sure to check out the soaking tubs!
“Gorgeous, Perfect, Economic”
This is an Inn, and it is perfect if you're looking. The most luxurious hot-tubs I've ever seen. If you are looking for a courteous, helpful reception office, this is it. However, if you are looking for 24 hour staff or room service, this is not that kind of place. Nestled in the gorgeous hills just off I-15. Also, very economical for any level of hotel.
“Peaceful and pleasant, would definitely go again”
Yes, this hotel is out of the way. It takes about 50 minutes to drive to the San Diego aiport. And you don't want to be driving south on I-15 during rush hours...it definitely backs up. But the hotel itself was lovely. Very peaceful. Full exercise room, overlooking the golf course and gardens. Many spa services, although I didn't have time to take advantage of them. No room service, but a full restaurant right down the hill (just walking through gardens and a fantastic view of the mountains), that has great American-type food at very reasonable prices. Everything was clean and very well-maintained. The staff was extremely friendly and pleasant. Someone was having a wedding when I arrived, and it looked like they were pleased with the facilities. It does get hot out there--and there was a heat wave when I stayed--but the rooms were air-conditioned. Each room has a balcony overlooking the golf course and mountains, and it all feels very home-like. The gardens are lovely. If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, and don't mind a little drive, I highly recommend this place. It's a nice counterpoint to the intensity of San Diego itself, and reminds me of the "old" California I knew as a child: quiet and pleasantly rural.
“Pennsylvania travelers loved Castle Creek”
Castle Creek Inn is a wonderful place -- peaceful and remote, but still easy access to the highway so you can travel anywhere you want from Castle Creek. After long days of sightseeing, it was wonderful to return to Castle Creek Inn and relax at the pool. The gardens are beautiful! We loved Temecula (wine country), a short drive north of Castle Creek Inn. Our only complaint is not with the Inn itself but with the country club next door. The food was terrible and the club members and wait staff were very rude. We ate lunch there once but never returned. But we can't hold that bad experience against Castle Creek Inn. In our view, Castle Creek Inn is the perfect getaway in the perfect location. TRY IT!

The service was wonderful and the hotel is exquisitely landscaped. It is a bit isolated as we could not get a pizza delivered and the restaurant is a little lonely but the food is excellent.

Reserved a crappy hotel in cali but on my way there the hotel sprung a water leak and expedia called to let me know. They where very nice and changed our reservation to the castle creek resort. When we got there it was beautiful! I was very happy and very thankful to expedia.

The resort is beautiful and VERY clean and well kept. It is lush and green and the pool is nice and inviting. We only stayed for one night as we went to a concert nearby. We will absolutely return here for a longer stay. It is off the freeway in a secluded area surrounded by mountains. A very quiet area. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable duplex type units sprawled all about. We had a king bed that was very comfortable. A conversation area with a couch and an easy chair and good size TV. Each room has a private patio with chairs. The golf course is gorgeous and provides an awesome view from the clubhouse deck. The food at the restaurant was good as well. A wonderful discovery and we can't wait to return!
