“Best hotel in the San Diego area”

This is the friendliest hotel I have stayed at in the San Diego area. There was even a rabbit in the parking lot. Apparently most of the guests are return guests. I spoke to one of the golfers who has been coming there with friends for over 20 years!!! I will definitely stay there again.

“Beautiful property!”

The place is very quiet and nice. The beds are too hard and you may have loud guests next to you if there is a wedding going on. Other than that, it was ok.

“Great Hotel in Nedd of Modernizing.”

Our family stayed here for 3 days during a major Junior Golf event. The employees are polite, but the hotel is very casualy run. We had to request an iron and the front desk person brought it to us at 11:00pm after he, "got off work." The rooms are very clean and spacious. We had 4 in our party with golf bags. They are in need of updating and the walls are paper thin. You can hear the neighbors walking around and opening and closing their door. The golf course is one of the best in San Diego for under $60. It will take about 15 - 25 minutes to get to anywhere in the city or to any of the attractions. Although this isn't the nicest hotel we have stayed in...it did the job for a couple of days and was a good value for the money.

“It's a hotel”

It's an average hotel room, we didn't use the housekeeping service at all - so I can't tell you about that really. The pool claimed to be heated, but was FREEZING. The little restaurant in the lodge was pretty good, but the "breakfast" sandwiches they offer Monday-Friday are no good, coffee was unimpressive.

“Won't Stay Here Next Time”

Very old room. Thought it would be nicer. The clubhouse bar produces loud drunks in the parking lot Friday and Sat nights at about 1:00 am. Only positive thing I can say is that the clubhouse food was excellent. Won't go back.
