Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort offers easy access to the 5-mile Carlsbad State Beach and features an outdoor pool and spa tub along with a fitness center and activity center. Family-friendly and adults-only activities, tours, and classes are offered daily (surcharges may apply).
Located within the resort complex are 3 dining venues: a Mexican restaurant, diner/café, and yogurt and sandwich shop. 1,375 square feet of event facilities includes conference rooms and banquet facilities. Guest parking is complimentary.

Norte Mexican Food & Cocktail - Mexican cuisine is served in a historic hacienda, open for lunch and dinner.
Daily News Café - This café serves healthy California cuisine and American fare for breakfast and lunch. Children's menu is available. Patio dining is open year-round.
Linda's Yogurt - Yogurt, ice cream, shakes, and smoothies are served along with sandwiches and desserts.
Recreation
The resort features an outdoor pool with children's pool and adults-only spa tub and also offers a fitness center and sauna. The resort's beach cabana is reserved for guests only. The activity center has ping pong tables, board games, and puzzles.
Guests have complimentary access to boogie boards, beach towels, chairs and umbrellas, beach and pool toys, bicycles, and jogging strollers.

“Has really improved!”
My family had stayed here about 5 years ago and were not impressed. It is a time-share property and must have gotten pressure from owners to improve. It was clean, had comfortable beds, friendly staff, and a perfect location for beach and restaurants.
“Wonderful weekend getaway, location is excellent!”
Very nice town, the Inn is walking distance to many areas for shopping dining and entertainment. The only disappointment is that it is not on the beach, but does have beach access within walking distance.
“wonderful atmosphere”
There are fews places as nice as the Carlsbad Inn with beautiful flowers bushes and trees everywhere. The charm of the place in is wonderful.

This hotel provided us with a central location and a low-key resort atmosphere. You are steps away from the beach. You are within walking distance from numerous restaurants and shops. The building and grounds are well-kept and clean. The staff was friendly and professional. The inclusion of a kitchenette in our room proved to be convenient for us.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and nice. The hotel is not ocean front, but access to the beach is only one block away. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I travel to Carlsbad.

“Very Impressed - excellent customer service”
The staff here was great - they were really nice, answered questions we had, made suggestions for dinner (and their recommendations were awesome!). Hotel is close to the ocean, many restaurants, shopping, etc. Even our 9 year old loved it. We will definitely be back!

Hotel staff was very friendly. Our one bedroom condo was awesome.Nice resturants within walking distance.Beautifull view of the ocean. We searched along time and did our homework and it paid off, would recommend to others.
“Can't wait to go back Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort”
The resort is right on the water in terms of views from their beautiful grounds. To actually get to the beach you walk down steps from the property, cross 1 quiet street, and down another set of steps and there is the beach. If you don't want to do the stairs you can take a longer way that would still have you there in 5 minutes. The hotel has everything and since it is a regular resort with condos, there are lots of activities, amenities, and the gym and showers are great too. I was there on business but plan on going back for a family vacation over a long weekend.
“Had a wonderful time”
The staff was kind and courteous, the grounds were well kept. Our room was very clean and we had a nice ocean view. We will definitely return to this hotel if we travel to Carlsbad again.
