“Nice hotel in a great location”

The Best Western chain can be counted on to have very nice properties especially when they are in upscale locations such as La Jolla. Everything about this hotel including the staff was lovely. They do charge for the parking on hotel grounds. I don't know if parking on the street is an issue during peak times in this busy neighborhood but the safety and convenience of street parking is an option. The Spice and Rice Thai restaurant within easy walking distance was excellent.

Even with some remodeling going on, there was no noise and no inconvenience getting around. The room was well kept and the staff was friendly and very helpful.

Enjoyable five-night stay at hotel which is in the heart of downtown La Jolla - restaurants and beaches. The hotel is reasonably priced for its location in such an attractive town.Would certainly return.

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was easy to find and there was plenty of parking in the back. It cost $12 a day, but it was safe. The room was larger than I expected and very clean. The check in staff was very pleasant and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was well stocked and had a variety of items to choose from. I will definitely go back!

This hotel was conveniently located. The room was clean and larger than expected. They did include a very basic continental breakfast.

“Learning experience”

This is the first time that as a Hotel Guest that I had to pay for parking.I thought this was a lttle tacky. I would not recommend this Hotel without telling my friends about the parking fee I think because of that they would go somewhere else. I think 12 dollars a day was way too much.

I've been visiting this hotel for 15 years, which speaks for itself! I come over from England every year, and it's always a treat. while some of the furnishings may look slightly faded in places, it's a great place, and I'd recommend it. Service is very good.

“Nice hotel”

Was a nice hotel. Had to switch rooms after the first night. The rooms facing Fay are very noisey. The manager was very nice and switched us to an upgraded room. Service and hotel staff was very good.
