“Would Stay Again”
We stayed here after a week at another resort in Escondido. Couldnt get another night there and wanted to go to the Animal Park and not have to drive home. I was very happy with the location but mainly the room and hotel itself. I wasnt expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. There are even some rooms available for people with pets. I will recomend this to my friends.
“Far from clean...”
The hotel looks great from outside, but once inside your room, it's a different story. The restroom appeared clean, but it was dirty. Especially where the extra toilet paper is placed. The toiletries, not enough. Only two extremely small bottles of shampoo were left. The room was stuffy and of course, the carpet was filthy. Continental breakfast was available, however the table had a horrible dirty egg smell. This is the last time I stay at a BW hotel, ever.
“Not bad for Escondido”
We stay here when we need to be in Escondido for family business. The only REAL complaint is that the bathroom light is now on a timer. Some of us do not like total darkness, especially when we get up at night. Felt that the hotel had too much control over how I sleep, by not letting me leave a light on. Beds were very comfortable, and although we did not eat the breakfast, it looked and smelled great.
“loved it i give it a 10!”
I will be staying more often!
“Escondido”
The room was clean. The location is great! The a/c was noisy and there was a lot of traffic noise because I was in an end unit.
“Very average; nothimg tp get excited about.”
I am not much of a traveler, and am not sure what to have expected, but I was not too impressed. The hotel is in a convenient location, right off the freeway. Room was clean and well kept. I'm not sure of the value for the price; but it WAS the July 4th weekend. The room seems outdated. Bathroom was small, but clean. Not a lot of amenities; no on-site restaurant, only basic cable TV, etc. Continental breakfast was average, the highpoint being the waffle maker. I would probably look a little longer when returning to the area for a little more for a little less money. There is an RV park adjacent, then houses surrounding area. Overall, a pleasant, quiet place to crash. We decided to not bring our small dog, but the hotel accepts pets.
“not impressed”
Good location, got a quiet room as I asked, 6-9am breakfast time was too short for a family with 2 kids who overslept too much, not the very best option for a 5 nights stay (do not recommend more than 1-2 nights), pretty dirty carpet, not very comfortable beds, only 1 pillow for each person. Got 3 bath towels for 4 persons, asked for extra - 2nd day it disappeared, asked again, same happen the 3rd, 4th and 5th Day.:-(
“Pleasant surprise”
Free wi-fi a big plus. Continental breakfast good. Even though facing freeway, the room was quiet.
“Stone Brewery Part One”
Our party consisted of 4 young adults (25, 24, 23,22) and our destination was the Stone Brewery. The hotel was perfect for us. Our room was clean and spacious and the receptionist helped us find a taxi driver to take us to the brewery. We slept well and had a great time.
“Near Wild Animal Park”
This was a very quiet hotel; not too far from the Wild Animal Park and several restaurants. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom had a constant drip in the bathtub but otherwise okay. We stayed on the third floor and had easy access to the elevator. We didn't use any additional services while there. It had a little refrigerator and microwave which is always nice. The TV was a flat screen and had a nice picture. I would stay here again.
