“Top Marks all round.”

I work in a hotel and I can say this is a Great hotel, great staff, room was really clean. Front desk team are very helpful. Breakfast was very good aswell, lots to choose from, prompt service and a great happy hour. Night and quite away from the busy hussle and bussle of the city. free internet is a bonus aswell.

“NO HASSLE!”

A HUGE plus was the free shuttle pick up and drop off at the train...that alone made the whole experience great. Took the train for a no hassle /traffic business trip and that shuttle made it that much easier. Also free shuttle to my meeting destination - can't beat that!

“Nice, comfortable hotel”

Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking. Reasonable food and drink prices. Nice view of the marina and harbor. Comfortable bed.

“Very Pleased”

Nice place to stay. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful and when she discovered our room was on the 1st floor, right beside the lobby and restaurant she arranged for us to have a room in a quieter location on the 2nd floor. She helped us with directions to local attractions and gave us some maps. The complimentary buffet breakfast was a nice touch and the service was great. Would consider staying here again.

“Stay on the Bay”

Located on Shelter Island, Bay Club has a large marina to the back and the San Diago bay in the front. It is a wonderful location. Free breakfasts were outstanding, and so was the resturant food for other meals. It is close to most San Diego attractions, and you can walk the beach in front of the motel.

“excellent, relaxing visit”

The service staff were very counteous, helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast buffet was spectacular and the marina view wonderful. It is across from the bay and very easily accessible by car to anywhere - stores, restaurants, downtown sights. We would definitely return anytime.

“Great View and Wonderful Service”

The location of Bay Club is beautiful. The flowers, view of the bay, and beautiful yachts made for a true vacation feeling. The free breakfast buffet was a great start to each day. The shuttle service to/from airport was very helpful. Staff went out of the way to have shuttle take us to/from a restaurant one night and to/from the harbor to catch a ferry for a trip to Coronado Island. The rooms are spacious, if a litle dated, and very clean. I would use this hotel again without a second thought!

Staff was very friendly and courteous as well as helpful. Loved the location as well as the hotel. No charge for parking which was refreshing. We rented a car thru the hotel and it was delivered as promised. We have stayed at 4 other hotels in San Diego on previous visits all which were located more in the downtown area - Shelter Island and Bay Club and Marina were a perfect choice for our summer visit. Really felt like a vacation destination - not just a hotel!

“Delightful Stay On The Bay in San Diego”

The Bay Club was the best bargain I received in San Diego. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. And it even came with a full buffet breakfast. The view out front was San Diego Bay and the view out back was the Marina. The food was good at the bar and it was very comfortable to watch my favorite sporting events on their Hi Def Wide Screen TV. Don't miss "Steven the Seagull" who eats breakfast on the balcony every morning.
