“Great price for an enjoyable stay!”
The hotel was very easy to find. The staff was always willing to help. I found the woman behind the desk on the days that I was there to be pleasant no matter how many times I went to her with questions. I stayed in a deluxe king room and really enjoyed it. The bed was pillow top and comfortable. It was clean and orderless which is important with me. I thought the whole hotel itself had a cute style as did the room. I will be staying there again for a few days in middle July. They do need to work on the shower doors in the room I stayed but other than that the water pressure and hot water was great!!
“A great example of an inexpensive, quality "no-frills" place to”
Super friendly & helpful desk clerk...we had occasion to watch her deal with an EXTREMELY obnoxious & difficult guest. She was very firm but absolutely courteous and tactful. The facility is showing it's age...carpet, paint etc do not look "brand new". BUT, everything was super clean and comfortable and the hotel offers all the amenities that one might want if all they're needing is a good night's rest at a very reasonable price. YEP, we'd go back if we need to sleep in San Diego again.
“Friendly and helpful staff”
The night we arrived 2 guests were drunk and unruly and refused to leave. The manager was very efficient in calling the police. She was very apologetic and explained that normally they did not accept guests of this calibre and a new staff member had misguidedly allowed these people to register. The drain in our bathroom sink would also not drain and because of this and the and the problem with the other guests our night became very late with our 2 young boys. She upgraded us without hesitation to a much better room because of the incovenience caused which we appreciated.
“great location, great price”
For the price this hotel was great it wad close to all the beachs in san diego i will be back....
“Great Value”
Hotel is older but very clean and within walking distance to grocery stores, and restaurants. Very short cab ride from the airport. Walking distance to our childrens residance in Point Loma area. Will stay there again when we go back out to visit.
“Short Vacation”
I needed an affordable place to stay during our visit to San Diego for two days. This place was within my budget and considering the cost was actually pretty decent. I checked in fast and easy after reserving the room online. Only issue I came across was the smell of perfume or air freshener that seemed to get stronger when the a/c was running.
“OK for a couple, not for 4.”
For the money, this hotel was OK. The staff was gracious and helpful when we asked for extra towels and pillows and information about the area. We had a room with 2 double beds, which was too cramped for my wife and 2 full-sized kids. In fact, the whole room was just plain too small compared to similar rooms at Motel 6 and the like. The hotel is very close to the airport, so it's pretty hard to sleep before the flights stop around 11:00 pm and after they start again at 6:30 am or so. So if you're on a budget and need a place to sleep, this will do.
“Not bad”
I'd stay there again. I was visiting San Diego a few days with my 3 teens. Small but decent place to sleep. The continental breakfast was not much to speak of ,but the pool was a decent size to lounge around in one night and the servants were very attentive to all our needs.
“Good rates and friendly service”
After having to switch to this hotel after finding out our previously booked hotel was under construction at the last minute, I was a little nervous considering there were no previous reviews or ratings for this hotel. But we were on a budget and it was a last minute change. The front desk and maintenance crew were very friendly and they made the stay comfortable. It was quiet and close to all the attractions we were anticipating. This hotel by far isn't a five star hotel, but for the location, rate, and friendliness, I would stay here again. :)
“good deal for the money”
Looking for a motel close to the MRCD that is clean. We were satisfied and would stay thee again user the same circumstances.
