“Irons need improvement”

We tried two irons from the office since they do not provide irons or ironing boards in the rooms, both had shorts in the wires. One just quit working the other heated up so fast it burned the shorts with just a touch of the iron, then it also shorted out. The hotel manager said sorry but they were not responsible for the irons and felt no need to cover the cost of the shorts.

“Overall good hotel if you need to stay in Vista”

This hotel was a pretty good deal compared to the competition. Definitely on par with others in its class.

“Great low-budget hotel”

Great bang-for-the-buck hotel in Vista. Rooms comfortable though clearly low-budget. Complimentary breakfast is satisfactory, though seating can be scarce if you come down at the wrong time. Would stay again.

“Good for the price”

I booked the vista Inn primarily because its web site said hardwood floors and price was reasonable. My room had carpet with stains, disappointing, but not a deal breaker you get what you pay for . The room was clean other wise. The front desk people were very nice. I was in the farthest building so internet sucked. I would give a better rating had If I would have got hardwood floors as was advertised.

“ok for the price”

this is probably the the only motel ive ever stayed at that had wooden floors and uncoventional room decor..it was ok for the price of the room and I dont think I would stay there again..the first night i woke up itching all over and couldnt go back to sleep. the second night was better. the shower worked ok and the rooms were comfy enough for our 2 night stay and the jacuzzi didnt work at all...... disappointing

“"Not Impressed"”

When I got there the front desk people were very nice. However, my first room I had was not the best. After 2 nights I could not stand the noisy neighbors and the dirty carpet. I guess my room was one of the last rooms that had not been changed to laminate flooring. It was gross! Then they changed me to another room and it was much better. You can tell that they are trying to fix up the rooms but it is being done very cheaply. The water also was not very hot, but good pressure flow. The second room was not too bad because it had laminate floors. I would never recommend this place to another woman but maybe a man would not care too much.

“Bare Minimum”

Sixties bedspreads, blanket had schmutz on it, asked and received extra sheet to go over blanket. Sheet had four 8 inch wide spots that were see through. Had just seen Hotel Impossible Corpus Christi Hotel on TV the night before. No Kleenix, so used TP to pick up the phone to ask for the extra sheet and pillows.

“Find another one!”

We had to pay extra for our children, 10 dlls EACH per night. Make sure if you request a non smoking room you do get it, otherwise the rooms stink. Find a different place for Breakfast, the only fresh things being coffee, waffles and bananas...
