“This Bed & Breakfast is the Best!”

It doesn't get any better than the 1906 Lodge! The staff are awesome, as is the service. It is elegant, and practical all in one. Morning coffee is waiting outside your room door, which I really appreciated. The food was great! Happy hour was every day at 5pm, a wine and cheese. It was a great way to meet other vacationers. Every evening your bed is rolled down, with chocolates left on your pillow. The beach was only a block away. We were provided with beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. I can't say enough about this place. It was the best. I can't wait to go back!

I have been all around the world for work. I have stayed in all manner of hotel. A good hotel is about balance: This on has it nailed, you are a guest and not a room number. The location is fantastic, it is dead quiet at night and mostly during the day. However, you must only walk a couple minutes and you are right on the happening side of Coronado's main strip and Beach. How this is possible is quite amazing. There is underground parking with keycard. That's worth a lot on an Island. The garden is very nice and calming. It is difficult to find a weakness. It is evident that they are trying to provide a great experience.

Courteous and friendly staff, personal service and nice decor. Well placed for local shops and restaurants without being in a noisy area. Underground parking a plus. Recommended!

The hotel is lovely but the technology gets a zero. TV had instructions to turn on and yet we were never able to get it to go on. We both have Masters DEgrees nad never had this problem. The hotel does not have a computer to use to check emails or do any research. They do it for you in their back room...the hotel is nice, food is great nad people were very warm. But the lack of modern conveniences (basics these days) would make me not recommned this hotel for anyone who needs internet access or a Tv that works easily. THey are outdated.
