“It works for the money”

If you are on a budget, this is a pretty good place to stay. The rooms were very average, at best, but you do get a mini fridge and microwave. It's an older motel (so, the rooms look it smell like it). The reason I'd go back is the front desk people were really great, they gave detailed directions and recomendations as well as maps of the city, plus as stated before, the price was good. It's located North East of the city (about 10 minutes from the riverwalk) and two good places to eat (Silo and Tongs Tai) are right next door. Overall, I'd recomend it for someone who is only going to use it for a place to shower and crash out.

“Ok on a budget”

Well what can i say its cheap on price but ok to sleep and shower had no wifi only internet line which i forgot to pack a cat5 cable well you get what you pay staff was friendly its good given the price.

“Kind of gross”

The room was small and the bathroom a little dirty. The main problem with the hotel was the humidity in the room. It seemed like there was a thick, cold film of dew on everything in the room (guests, sheets, tables, etc.) after a while.

“Not too happy”

I wasn't too pleased when every time I called the staff seemed very unhappy and reluctant to answer my questions like it was the biggest chore of all. THen upon arriving at the hotel the staff was playing games on the computer and didnt really seem to concerned right away that I wanted to check in. There were roaches that came out at night. Every interaction with staff wasn't very friendly. I especially didn't like the lighting because there was no light in the area where you eat and store your luggage. The tiles in the bathroom were discusting and the headboard fell on my head while I was sleeping. THe parking lot had a huge speedbump and the parking was inadequate for the guests to park.

The hotel was dirty and looked like it needed some updates and repairs.

“Filthy beyound discription”

It was horrible!!!!The carpet was so dirty it turned your feet black, the shower tub had water beneath it, it was like walking on a water ballon when showering. Door wouldn't lock properly, or at all at times. Ants in the beds, water leaking into the room at the rear coner of the room. Hole in wall at phone connection never cleans loose plaster all over the place. I would warn anyone do not stay here. Came back to room late in evening, my bed was not even made. Office closed often during our stay. If every hotle in town had not been booked due to Fiesta days, we would have paid out of our own pocket to move. To stay at a hole in the wall, or a dump would have been a step up. I doubt if I would ever stay at any Rodeway Inn's again in any location even in a upscale neighborhood. Even if the stay was free it would have been an overcharge. In all of my years of travelling I have never seen anything like this.

“Bad experience”

This hotel has several long term residents that are making the stay for short term miserable. There was drinking, parties, and domestic disputes. The manager offered us a six pack of beer to make us feel better.
