the people at the hotel were very helpful.the hotel was in a seedy neighborhood.comfortable and convenient.

“Clean, close to museums”

Breakfast is small (sunny delight and tiny danishes), but the rooms are clean and do not smell. Everything is in working order and the front desk staff is helpful. The pool is nice. The beds sag toward the middle.

We were there for a conference & room was a good rate. It was very convenient with trolley service stopping at front of motel going to riverwalk area. Toilet was not working but they moved us to another room right away.

Clean room, nice helpful staff, trolley at the curb so we didn't have to drive downtown for meetings. Carpet a little dirty but the room was great, fresh clean bright white towels every day and a nice hot shower. Fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and safe for valuables.

“Nice visit”

The staff was polite and helpful when asked questions about the trolley and local stores etc. The room was clean, nice big white bath towels, clean sheets, only thing I noticed were my socks were pretty dirty after walking around a bit. All the comforts of home, microwave, refrig., iron and board, coffee maker and big tv with remote to watch from a big recliner. It was close to I-35 but not too noisy. The trolley took me downtown for $1 instead of driving myself and spending $8 for parking. Tortilla soup at Lulu's was good. Not a fancy place but nice. Lubys across the street. If I had to be stranded, glad it was there in the "arctic blast" Jan.'07. They helped make it less traumatic having to stay 2 extra nights due to road closures.

I spent a Friday night at this inn before my friend arrived and we booked another hotel for few other days next to riverwalk. Under the budget issue, I booked something quick and cheap for a night to sleep and wasn't expect much out of it. Upon arrival, front desk people were very friendly and willing to help. The room is simple but very clean. The room looked renovated. (A/C is working in my room otherwise it will be hot). The bed is comfy and linen was nice, soft, and smelled good. The street trolley was just right outside the hotel and very easy access to the downtown area! Everything was way above my expectation! The only complaint I have is that WiFi is actually NOT available even they claimed that they have one. But overall, I have no hesitation to come back for another stay.

As everyone known, Riverwalk is the most famous place in San Antonio. Fortunately, this inn is only 4 blocks to the Riverwalk. This is great for the people who like the riverwalk. Other things are worthy to its price. This is a good inn for normal travellers. The only con is the wireless internet is not good~ Hope they can improve this.
