“Comfortable & Well Treated”

The room was clean & comfortable. Wide selection of channels on TV. The staff was great and can help you with everything from a coffee pot to sight seeing! Breakfast bar is simple; however enough to get you going in the mornings. The Roadrunner Wi Fi is free & moves along pretty quick; been some places where it may have been free but extremely slow. I would not hesitate to stay here if in San Antonio again and would/will recommend to anyone I know visiting in that area.

“Short stay for a wedding”

We were staying here with another couple for a wedding. The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly. The pool was very small and we did not even bother going in. We had two rooms that had a connecting door, which was great for us. Our outside door lock broke and we had to go through the connecting door of our friends room to leave. The hotel was right off the freeway. Overall the hotel was good for the price.

although we have stayed at this location a few times berfore and were very satisfied, it seems as the hotel ages the owener is not keeping up with all the maintience. the things that we noticed were probally small but after a while can start to look bad and effect the satisfaction of people stayng there.

Overall, the trip was fun. The only bad point of the trip was the hotel stay. My fiancee and I went to see a San Antonio Spurs basketball game and when we got to our hotel room it turned out that the air conditioner did not work and it also had a leaky shower. Later after we returned from the game, we were moved to one of their suites. This room was an upgrade but the remote control to the television did not work and it too had a leaky shower. Although the hotel rooms were not all that great, the hotel personnel (especially the front desk) provided us with exceptional customer service.

The hotel was an easy commute to Fort Sam Houston. The room seemed small and the walls were dark brown with some peeling paint. It was reasonably clean. It was kind of tricky to get to off of the highway. The price however was very reasonable.

“Didn't get what I reserved.”

I reserved and paid for a non-smoking room approximately 3 days in advance. We I registered they gave me a smoking room and said that was all they had available. There was only 1 of the 3 pillows with a pillow case one it. The windows were so dirty you could not see out of them. The a/c unit in the exercise room was not working and we had to clean out the pool ourselves by hand so we could swim.

In all my hotel stays, I've had pretty average to exceptional stays. Sorry to say that my experience here wasn't that great. The front desk clerk didn't allow me to check in early and insisted I return at 4pm but allowed others to check in at 3pm while I waited in the lobby and allowed other guests to check in at 11am the next morning. At night, the smoke detector kept chirping and took 3 calls and 2-3hrs to get resolved by night clerk. The bed was a good size but uncomfortable. My wife and I kept tossing and woke up with back pain. Appearance was good with the exception of the problems mentioned. Hopefully better luck for future guests.
