“Great hotel on the Riverwalk”
The hotel was in a great location to all the main attractions on the riverwalk. The room was great for a family of 3, I really liked that it had a little fridge in the room so you could store some beverages. We had a great experience, staff was friendly and helpful. I would defenitely come back to this hotel.
“FIESTA in SA”
located in the heart of san antonio - could not have stayed in a better location. For those interested in a great bar scene, Mad Dogs was located literally foots step from the back entrance of the hotel onto the Riverwalk. Gorgeous hotel.
“Great Hotel”
Wonderful experience. All the staff was helpful and kind.
“Enjoyed our Stay!”
We had a very comfortable room. You do have to use your Key Card for elevators to get to your room (it wasn't explained to us upon check in). Great location for Riverwalk and Downtown.
“Great place to stay near the Alamo”
Decent view of the Alamo, though the old mission is pretty small in comparison, so it looks a bit diminished from the higher floors. We could walk to everything, which was great. The Rooftop pool was good, though we were there in winter, so it was freezing. The spa was warm - a little too warm! The posted maximum safe temperature was 102 degrees, and the thermometer read 104 while we were there. We got in anyway, but seems like something they should watch a little more closely. Breakfast buffet prices typical of hotels - about twenty, I think - but they also had the option to order from the menu. Concierge was pretty useless in giving us information about the rodeo despite several giant posters and signs up in the lobby. They didn't seem to know anything about the activities posted in their own lobby.
“VERY, VERY NICE STAY HERE !!”
i thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. from the time i arrived until i departed i was treated with courtesy and professionalism. i arrive VERY early in the morning and i asked for a very quiet room. i told the staff i was willing to wait for a room. well...the wait was worth it. i was given exactly what i asked for !! i found the room to be spacious and a i had a nice view and i had plenty of towels, amenities and a nice cable TV. i ordered room service which turned out to be a bit of a disappointment and i found the hotel restaurant to be a bit disappointing. there are plenty of other places to eat outside the hotel. the hotel is ideally located right on the riverwalk and i felt safe coming and going. it's a busy hotel...lots of seminars and conventions going thru there. the alamo is about 2 blocks away and there is plenty of local shopping and other attractions located nearby. the concierge is very helpful in making dining suggestions and what attractions to see. they have a nice map to hand out which makes things easier to find. i went to the spa...worth the bucks ! i was treated like a queen and enjoyed some self pampering. i asked for a 330AM wake up call on my day of departure and i got 2 calls just to be sure i was awake. the staff got a taxi for me to take to the airport. i would stay here again !!
“Great location to river.....”
Had great time in San Antonio..... Will go back again without hesitation.....
“Great Place on the River”
This is a great hotel to stay at, especially if you want to spend evenings on the Riverwalk! The hotel is also a block or two away from the Rivercenter Mall. We found the staff very nice, and room was the perfect size for us. The exercise facility was also great. The next time I go San Antonio and I plan to be on the Riverwalk, this is where I'm going to stay.
“Gateway to the Riverwalk”
Because of the awesome fountains/waterworks in the lobby, the famous Riverwalk seems to flow from the Hyatt Regency. More important perhaps is the Paseo De Alamo, a water garden passageway that leads directly to the Alamo.(The only negative.. a group of female bartenders who try to force "margaritas to go" on you each time you pass.)The rooms were what I describe as a Texas/Mission style and were more than comfortable. Maid service was o.k., but not quite as sharp as I'd like to see for a place this nice. All the staff were very pleasant and accomodating. They always refer to you by name and try hard to make you feel special. I'd definitely stay again.
“great hotel”
we only had two complaints: sheets were not big enough for the luxury bed so they came untucked every night; we would wake up with our bedding in a wad. and the maids didn't always replace the coffee cups, water glasses, shampoo, bath mat, so we had to request them. Otherwise the room was extremely comfortable, clean and beautiful.
