“Exceeded expectations!!”
We LOVED THIS PLACE!!! Staff was very friendly, accomodating, and attentitive no matter if it was 1am, 5am, or in the afternoon!!! I liked the decor also. May not be for everyone but I liked the feel of history it brought to me. The Alamo was caddy corner from the hotel and the convention center was a 7-10 minute walk if that. Great location and highly recommend this place. Price was very reasonable compared to the other major hotels in area. Our window view wasn't that great but what does it matter? We were only in there to sleep!!!!!

“Best choice in San Antonio!”
This is the second time we were lucky enough to stay at the Hotel Indigo at the Alamo. It is literally steps from the Alamo and less than a block to the heart of the River Walk and terrific restaurants. We ate at the hotel restaurant for breakfast and once for dinner and it was very good and reasonably priced. All of the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. This hotel is so quiet that you think you are the only guest even when it is busy. There is a parking lot right next door where you can self-park for $8.00. We will definitely be guests again!!
“Almost perfect experience.”
The Hotel was actually better than we expected for the price. The lobby was clean and well lit. The employees at the check in desk were prompt and accurate. The room was extremely clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was perfect. The glass doors to the shower were perfectly cleaned every day and the shower itself was very comforting and pleasant. The only complaint we had was the air conditioning unit. It worked perfectly and kept the room very comfortable but the whole set up was directly over the bed....the air intake ( where the air is sucked through the filter ) as well as the main air duct that blows the cool air into the room. It was SOOOO noisy we had to shut it off to be able to sleep. After the first night, we simply turned the thermostat way down before we left for dinner, cooling the room to about 60 degrees, then shutting it off completely before retiring so we could sleep. Except for this one problem, the room and Hotel was perfect.
“Modern and Good Location!”
The Indigo at the Alamo was very nice! Perfect place along the riverwalk and the Alamo. There was staff present 24/7 and always very friendly and offered good advice on resturants and gave directions. Rooms were large and decorated great! The hotel was recently redone, so you can see a few things that showed mistakes. But my overall experience was wonderful! I would defenitly stay here again.

Right by the Alamo and the Riverwalk Mall. Ask for a room with the Alamo view. Older hotel but updated nicely. Room was nice size for 4 guests.
“Launching into the Hill Country”
We did not realize when we made the booking that the Indigo is 100 yards from the Alamo and the River Walk. The staff was eager to please, and seemed genuinely delighted that we liked the hotel. They were proud of the way the historical nature of the original bank building had been preserved in the conversion to a hotel. We appreciated the Douglas fir floors, the old safe doors and original elevator banks which had been kept for their historical and decorative appeal. I would recommend the Indigo for a non-cookie cutter hotel experience.
