In general, this place exceeded expectations - everything was very clean, hot water was abundant (even at peak showering hours), and the room was in good condition.
Breakfast, in particular, was a pleasant surprise - not a huge assortment of hot items, but everything I tried was tasty, and they had a nice array of condiments/toppings, including sugar-free syrup and seven types of hot sauce. They also seemed a bit more conscious of vegan/vegetarian diets than usual - the eggs didn’t have meat mixed in, and they had pumpkin seeds available as an oatmeal topping and oat milk easily accessible. I really appreciated the fact that the waffle maker made up to four mini waffles, rather than the one ginormous one that most people never finish.
I do hope that they get a chance to upgrade their climate control at some point - I’m hard of hearing and usually indifferent to background noise, so when I say that the A/C was loud… it was REALLY loud. Scared the crap out of me the first time it kicked in, and while it didn’t interrupt my sleep, light sleepers might have to turn it off altogether to get any rest… which could be problematic during Texas summer.
