In general, this place exceeded expectations - everything was very clean, hot water was abundant (even at peak showering hours), and the room was in good condition. Breakfast, in particular, was a pleasant surprise - not a huge assortment of hot items, but everything I tried was tasty, and they had a nice array of condiments/toppings, including sugar-free syrup and seven types of hot sauce. They also seemed a bit more conscious of vegan/vegetarian diets than usual - the eggs didn’t have meat mixed in, and they had pumpkin seeds available as an oatmeal topping and oat milk easily accessible. I really appreciated the fact that the waffle maker made up to four mini waffles, rather than the one ginormous one that most people never finish. I do hope that they get a chance to upgrade their climate control at some point - I’m hard of hearing and usually indifferent to background noise, so when I say that the A/C was loud… it was REALLY loud. Scared the crap out of me the first time it kicked in, and while it didn’t interrupt my sleep, light sleepers might have to turn it off altogether to get any rest… which could be problematic during Texas summer.

Very friendly staff!!
When I arrived to check in, the desk clerk was dealing with what sounded like a difficult customer. She was very patient and professional to someone who didn't seem like they were being the same. When the conversation ended, she apologized profusely for the wait, I found out her name was Sabrina and kudos to her. She was very sweet and kind, when she found out my grandson was in the car she gave me a coloring book and crayons for him. She seriously set the tone for our stay, I can't say enough good things about every staff member we came in contact with during our stay...super staff!! The location was perfect and the breakfast was awesome, since Covid many hotels don't have a full breakfast but this one was the best. The toppings bar for the waffles and oatmeal was hands down the best. The only tiny thing I have to mention is the electric outlets attached to the light were very loose and I had to use the wall out to charge my phone and the microwave was very low wattage, we had a hard time making popcorn. Overall, though, I would totally stay here again.

The property was conveniently located to Seaworld. The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the property itself is not in a great condition and not very clean. We had a late night incident where a large cockroach was in our restroom. The staff offered to move us but since it was late at night and the kids were asleep we waited until the morning. Upon waking up we noticed several small roaches in the area and small bugs flying by the sink of the restroom. The staff relacted us rooms. This definitely left us with a negative experience as we have small children and this is unsanitary.

Dear Kimberly, We take any issues of pests extremely seriously and go to great lengths to ensure our rooms do not contain pests of any kind. Not only do staff members perform thorough inspections when cleaning the rooms and anytime a guest reports a potential issue, but the hotel also contracts a third-party vendor for preventative pest control monthly. Additionally, random inspections are provided by the Health Department on a semi-annual basis to ensure pest control and overall cleanliness standards are maintained. If you are staying 2 days your room does not get clean by policy. Can you change the policy to have rooms clean per request or when families have kids to make exceptions? Everything else was a plus
