“Had to do it again!”
I stayed at the Emily Morgan for 3 nights, and I returned to San Antonio, it was my first choice. I had to do it again, because my previous stay was so enjoyable and the people were so accommodating!
“We will be back !”
Family had a great time. excellent views of downtown San Antonio. close to all of the sights you must see, within walking distance
“Beautiful and great location”
Amazing stay. Very friendly staff. Gorgeous rooms, great food. The location can't be better. If you go, ask for a room facing the Alamo. I loved it.
“Definitely a 5 Star Experience”
From valet parking upon arrival to checkin to checkout, the experiece was excellent. With its location just across the narrow street from the Alamo, it had easy access to the Riverwalk and other amenties. The Oro restaurant and bar was indeed excellent also. Definitely a 5 star experience!
“Simply The Best”
We have stayed at this hotel 3 times and will stay again. Great Customer Service. Mouthwatering breakfast buffet well worth the price, but you gotta try the huevos rancheros. Centrally located in the middle of a 3 block area between the River Center Mall, The Alamo, & our favorite part of The River Walk. A few more blocks to the Alamodome but if you're not up to that walk, try the Trolly. Location, price, service, transportation, history, & entertainment. Great for Business or Leisure trip.
“Good location for Alamo, Riverwalk and convention center - would good back again.”
A charming modern hotel in a historic building. We stayed five nights, the first two in a single queen which is a bit small, but comfortable. The hotel seemed busy on the weekend, but on Sunday afternoon we asked the front desk if we could move to a larger room if one was available. They readily offered to move us to a large king room at no extra charge. Very friendly and prompt service from front desk and concierge staff.
“Amazing Weekend”
My husband and I recently stayed at the Emily Morgan for our First Anniversary. It was amazing! The hotel staff, service, and the hotel itself was wonderful. It was right across from the Alamo and within a reasonable distance from the Riverwalk. We were very pleased and will definitely stay there again on our next trip to San Antonio.
“Lovely Hotel in a Great Location”
In town for a wedding, we wanted a centrally-located hotel with a nice view. Emily delivered, with a very attentive staff (we had to borrow a bottle opener and the maitre'd brought up his personal one!), lovely view from our room, and great location literally adjacent to the Alamo. The Riverwalk is a 3 minute walk from the front door and there's a great Starbucks, Walgreens, and numerous restaurants within a 10-minute walk. We'd stay again in a heart beat. The only complaint is that the second-floor pool is shaded in the afternoon (I'm really reaching).
“Wonderful Hotel”
The clerk was most helpful helping me print out my boarding passes, The hotel is breathtaking, great view, and the hot water lasts forever for long showers and baths. The beds and pillows were awesome!! The bathroom was not as clean as home, but you come to expect that when you travel. It was a wonderful getaway for my son who just graduated BMT at Lackland AFB during our stay. We loved the hotel and hope to stay again in the future.
“Can't wait to go back”
My husband and I throughly enjoyed everything about our stay at the Emily Morgan during March, 2008. We had valet parking and everytime we needed our car all we had to do was call. We booked a "Queen Room" on line and upgraded to a King when we got there at a very, very reasonable difference. The service was superb as were the views!! Top Notch all the way around! Would highly recommend this hotel with NO Reservations.
