“Best in Comfort”

After reading other reviews I was cautiously optimistic. Yes, the hotel is older and has some cosmetic flaws, but we were extrememly satisfied! The beds were the most comfortable beds I have slept on in a hotel and the pillows were big and comfortable, too. The room was very clean and the towels were fresh and white and fluffy. Finding a room for 2 adults and 3 kids is hard so I loved the 3 queen room we had! My kids swam in the pool and loved it. We were literally 5-10 minutes from the Riverwalk and downtown entertainment. Perhaps those that gave the Antonian bad reviews were wanting something shiny and polished on the outside. For my family The Antonian was homey, clean, and comfortable and we were very happy with our choice.

THIS WAS A VERY DECENT HOTEL CLOSE TO THE FREEWAY AND STORES AND FAST FOOD CHAINS ARE CLOSE BY THE HOTEL AND ITS A WALKING DISTANCE.

Stayed during a convention. The hotel was very good to accomodate shuttle services and to give information about the city and bus system. The pool was clean and the deck area classy and comfortable. Every thing with a genuine southwest theme true to the area. The desk manager was professional and helpful in all manners. Breakfast was AWESOME. Home cooked biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes.... etc.... all to order. Even the coffee was good. The rooms are larger than average. The sheets are of noticable high quality. The room is clean and well serviced. My room had a refrigerator and microwave. Both clean and functioning. There are restaurants and small stores and service areas next door and across the street.. All of the staff is welcoming and knowlegable about the area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to San Antonio. It is phenomenal. If I should ever have the privelage to visit San Antonio again I will definitely enjoy another stay at the San Antonian.

I was impressed with the size of the rooms. They were clean and cool (A/C already on in the room). Their customer service was warm and inviting. Great location close to AT&T Center, downtown area, and Alamodome.

I was very pleased with my stay as a matter a fact, I came 2 weekend in a row and booked at the same place... the staff was friendly and approachable...they were really helpful. if visiting friends or family at Fort Sam, I highly recommend this place...
