Modern et belle plage. Le service laisse à désirer. Pas assez d’employés, le service de restauration est ultra lent. Ca prenez jusqu’à 1h30-2h00 pour être servis. Il n’y a aucunes activités (yoga, pilatis, etc). Le gym est minuscule et très peu équipé. Potentiel énorme mais encore beaucoup de travail.

Très bel établissement, très bonne offre de restauration à la carte. En revanche les chaises longues manquent de matelas et le service est extrêmement lent pour obtenir le premier plat (1h en général). On attendrait un espace bar avec des canapés dans un établissement de ce standing.

Le design de ce site, la plage et les environs sont magnifiques. Il y a tout pour que ce soit parfait, mais les employés semble laissé à eux mêmes ( ils sont très gentil mais semble manquer de formation ou de support d'un gérant. Un employé est venu ouvrir notre porte de chambre en pleine nuit car une personne ( qui a abusé du tout inclus niveau alcool) disait que c'était SA chambre. Il aurait pu vérifier un peu avant de procéder...il manque "d'amour" au niveau de l'entretien du site et des batiments. C'est triste pour un beau complexe relativement neuf.

This resort was amazing the staff was very attentive and helped us with any issues we had. One of my friends that was in my travel group their room had some water leakage and the resort got that situated quickly and got them a new room. The restaurants were all diverse and had great options. This resort isn't near a lot of things so if you're looking for nightlife and partying this isn't the place! It's very relaxing and a great place to unwind and relax

Very beautiful place. Highly recommended. Staff is very helpful and nice. Restaurants are good too. Theres an event planner on site every day through their vendors, and local businesses offer plenty other things out on the beach right outside. Only critiques would be no hot water in showers and rooms are not weatherproof so they remain humid no matter the temperature. WiFi in rooms is basically non existent (but out in common areas it’s fine, and you don’t go to Costa Rica for WiFi).

The grounds, the staff, the service, the food and drinks, the pools , the beach, the rooms, the beds- EVERYTHING is absolutely amazing. Where do I start? We were pleasantly surprised with the condition of the property. We had an ocean front swim up pool. Let me just say, there are no ocean front rooms at this resort, trust me, we looked for them. Our room faced the pool and if you are in the private pool you may get a partial view of the ocean. The food was pretty good, but limited. You only get two restaurant choices per night and one small breakfast buffet in the morning. It’s a cute boutique hotel and the ambiance exceeded our expectations. Room service was horrible… it took a long time and it was not good at all. The champagne and wine was pretty good. The drinks and food were not consistent, sometime the drinks and food are great and others places or times it’s just ok. The pool water was warm and clean. The beach was clean. The resort was clean. The air conditioning worked as expected! The wildlife is pretty loud at night, but otherwise the property is mellow and quiet. The staff are friendly and attentive. We had some problems with our privacy window, but it was fixed immediately. It’s a 2 hour and 20 minute ride from the airport. We booked a private car, and the time passed quickly. They have great excursion packages. We did a sea life tour, which consisted of snorkeling and dolphin watching…we loved it! I would suggest the resort install fans in the restaurants and bar areas… it gets quiet humid and hot. Overall, we would not mind returning to the hotel

One of the best all inclusive resorts we have ever stayed at! The resort was beautiful, the food was wonderful and the staff was top notch…from the time we checked in until the time we checked out, their priority was making sure each guest was enjoying their vacation. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you Azura for the wonderful holiday.

It is a small resort, but nice. The food wasn't horrible. The alcohol was average. Concierge needs a little training. The information provided by her was not accurate. I kind of took charge. It was a good time. Nothing not to like, but it didn't blow me out of the water.

The room assigned to us was not the same category that we purchased (no partial ocean view, no king size bed). The hotel response was that it was the last room available and blamed Expedia. Hotel customer service did not address our complaint and basically ignored us for 3 days. It was unprofessional and seemed somewhat dishonest. Expedia did nothing for us except call the hotel. Our room was dirty at our arrival; we decided to wash the sticky floor ourselves. Grounds and beach are nice. Breakfast and lunch food is ok. Dinner restaurants (asian & italian) are quite good with excellent service. Overall, resort seems overpriced. Buyer beware if you book a premium room, you risk to be disappointed with no partial credit or refund to compensate you.

The resort was beautiful. Always had good service at pool bar and at lunch. Breakfast and dinner not good service. The breakfast buffet would be out of eggs and no one around to cook fresh eggs. Or eggs were out but no serving spoons. Valentines day we were told we had reservations at Bocatto. When we arrived the restaurant was empty except for other confused guest who also had reservations. Finally someone came and told us restaurant was closed and we had to eat outside. After our meal was over people were in Bocatto eating. Our room was labeled ocean view but it was more resort view.

NOT A PARTY RESORT. Our door key stopped working 5x on the first day, it took forever to fix. No valet service if you decide to show up with your own car. Food at the restaurants was below average. We left without finishing our meals at every restaurant and got food poisoning on the last day! The food at the lunch spot was not great. We did not enjoy the nachos and fish tacos. No flavour ALL restaurants for dinner are reservation only and you have to make the reservations in person at the front desk every day. You can’t even book for the next day. If you don’t get an early dinner reservation you get stuck with a late reservation! The morning buffet was very basic and small. One day all the tables were full and we had to wait ! The beach is beautiful but there are not enough beach chairs or sunbrellas. And even if you try to reserve a chair early, people will take your stuff and throw it aside. The front desk uses WhatsApp to communicate with you (they don’t answer the phone) but you can not actually make any reservations on WhatsApp, you have to do everything in person at the front desk - including getting your beach/pool towels! Front desk is only open from 7AM-10PM. If you’re checking out before the desk opens without informing them the night before: good luck! The pool was murky when we arrived. Our experience on food, service and cleanliness was a mere 1/10 Location and environment was 9/10. Pura Vida✌️

Pros; quiet, wait staff very kind, food was really good, modern room amenities. Cons; housekeeping for the rooms, either didn’t show up at all or I had to call for them to come. Diner reservations made through the whats app, had to download it to be able to have dinner on the property. Not enough staff. Breakfast was difficult, not enough choices for a buffet, and usually either low or out of food. No facility or room information given when checking in, had to use the whats app again for messages to be sent to us with that info.

Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, my wife and I encountered several situations that we did not like: - We made a reservation at the Asian restaurant. The order arrived in parts, 1:30 hours after ordering, and we eventually had to leave without receiving the main course. When we complained to the waiter, his response was "I can't do anything." - The pool was dirty and the water was murky. - At breakfast, with more than an hour left until it ended, 90% of the buffet dishes were empty and no one did anything about it until another guest asked for them to be refilled. - The cocktails are made without a recipe and each bartender makes them according to their own judgment. They all taste different depending on the bar or bartender. There's little standardization. - We asked for a change of pool towels at reception and their response was "there are none." Overall, the facilities are very beautiful and the staff's attitude is good, but they lack a lot of training and, above all, supervision. It's evident that they are short-staffed and do not have captains or supervisors. It's not worth what they charge. I do not recommend it. I would not return.

The staff was amazing. Always greeting guests with a smile. My wife and I would like to mention some that made our stay special. Wendy was always there with a smile and cheerful greeting. Others who helped make fond memories were Danny and Julie at the pool bar. Roxanna and Kayla always made our days a little brighter with their joyful attitude. There were so many others who made every day special. They should all be very proud of the joy they bring to their guests.

The property was not clean and frequently had to request that the swim up pool be cleaned and filtered. The awning in the room fell and hit me but staff refused to do anything about it other than take it out the room. Staff was very dismissive.

Property is ideally located and staff are very helpful, but lack of sufficient beach chaise lounges created unnecessary problems that were not in keeping with a higher end resort. Temperature of shower never got above the low end of luke-warm. Food, although generally OK, was disappointing in that there was considerable inconsistency - same dishes often varied substantially in taste from one day to another. Very surprising. Coffee machines in public areas were frequently not working and from other reviews this seems to be an ongoing problem.

The property was as described, quiet, low key, adults only. Most of the staff were very pleasant, and attentive. The downside, excursions were only available on certain days, we didn't know this until it was too late. There was only 1 working ATV for that tour. Most of the other tours were 2-3 hours away from the resort, for that reason we didn't do any. The resort is a solid 2 hour drive from the airport. Our room was clean, but replacement towels and glasses were hard to get and our air conditioner rattled loudly every night. We didn't ask for it to be fixed, because it still worked. There are no staff on site between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am, we didn't want to risk asking to fix the A/C unit for fear that it might stop during the night, so we listened to the rattle every night we were there. We did go to Samara to shop a little, but the red taxi couldn't come and get us for over an hour, so we walked back. I would give the resort 3.5. Good, but still areas for improvement.

Excellent resort. Staff was friendly and went over and above when we had a medical emergency. Food and beverages were great although everything shuts down at 10ish. Rooms were clean, spacious and well maintained. We had minor issue with reoccurring door lock malfunctions but were generally fixed quickly. The beach is gorgeous and safe although they could use more chairs and umbrellas to avoid limited seating in the shade. Also beach towels appeared to be in short supply. Overall I would go back in a heart beat. We heard other people complaining at the front desk but we didn’t experience anything that would have made us complain.

No ambient. If u like to go have fun. This is not the place. It’s more like a nursing home for elderly people. It’s an all inclusive hotel. And they have hours for each food u want. You can’t order anything cause u have to wait for the time they give u to order. The breakfast sucks. It’s more of a continental breakfast. The drinks r limited. We asked for a specific drink. And they never had it. But if we tip $100 out of no where they would bring the bottle we asked for. Everything closes at 10pm.

Overall, the property is OK but just a little disappointing after the other places on our trip. Everything is a bit rundown and most of the staff members don’t seem very happy. The food was mediocre at best, and the breakfast buffet was really disappointing. On two of the days they were completely out of eggs, fish and fruit before 8am. The room was nice but a bit rundown. Our housekeeper was one of the few friendly people on staff. We had some laundry done which was returned shoved into a bag in a wrinkled mess. Finally, wifi was good throughout the entire property except up near the oceanfront rooms. We brought our concerns to hotel management with zero results. After almost two weeks in Costa Rica we were expecting much more.
