“Bahia Principe Cayacoa Samana, DR”
The hotel is beautiful & luxurious looking, wonderful staff, all very attentive, helpful & readily available. Our Standard Seaview room had an amazing view, not only of the sea but of the grounds, our beach & most beautiful sunrise. Our room also walked right out into their gorgeous courtyard. Their buffett & on site restaraunts are very elegant & serve delicious food. Their snack bar & bars conveniently located, amazing beaches & walking down to Santa Barbara Samana is only 10 minutes(most opt to be driven but the walk is nice) & the locals are lovely welcoming people. Lots of choice for amazing excursions. To be fair we didn't have running hot water all the time for our showers, & their in-room lighting could use an update to add to the luxury feel (it's their first built hotel apperantely), but very very minor details to us compared to our overall stay for the week. We had an amazing time, would definetely go back, & also try their other bigger locations, but this particular location worked well for us 60 yr olds!
“Great Hotel for the price....”
We made a Couple's trip, me, my husband, my sister and her husband, we spent 4 days and 3 nights, the hotel was great service, food and instalation, My sister was put in a room next to ours and when the air conditioner was not cooling the room enough, they quickly gave them another room, food was excellent, for our stay we could only enjoy one specialty restaurant but the food was outstanding, we even spoke with the hotel chef (from spain) and with the restaurant chef (dominican) about how happy we were about the food, ( just make sure you make the reservation the same day you check in because restaurants get full quickly) the entertaiment team was also great, one thing that can be better is that after the show everybody just goes off to their room, they should insist on people to stay and dance or just stay there and drink (anyway is free) because when you are on vacation you don't want to go to sleep at 11pm, we went to Cayo Levantado, go there you won't regret it... Great trip will definitely go back...

I went here for my honeymoon and this hotel is THE BEST HOTEL I'VE STAYED IN. Everything was just perfect in this hotel. The staff was very friendly. The service was perfect. The hotel was kept VERY VERY clean. My wife and I are already planning our next trip to Gran Bahia Principe Cayacoa.

“very nice trip”
One thing we really appreciated with this hotel. NO VENDORS!!! No beach vendors hounding you, no VIP salesmen hounding you, we were able to move about freely and comfortably throughout our stay. We booked a 3 star service in a 5 star resort, which I feel resulted in a solid 4 star or better experience
