“salzburg”
great place and good price. lots of things to do and see.
“Super comfortable”
We stayed here with our two children (aged 11 and 6). The room was big and the two double (queen?) beds were super comfortable. The room (including bathroom) was spotless. We ate in the bar a few times - the service was very spotty, with some strange responses to some of our requests ("Can you tell me what is in this dish?" "Oh, I don't like that. You shouldn't order it.") but always friendly. There was a special deal with 1 hr of free internet (otherwise super expensive) when you ate in the bar; we had to ask for this, so missed out on the first night. The size of the meals seemed to change depending on who was cooking - but there was plenty of variety. Breakfast was good but pricey (I think we had to pay for our 11 year old as well). And that was just the cold buffet - if we'd wanted hot food, we'd've had to pay more! The location is very convenient for the Hauptbahnhof (main station) although it is a couple of streets back. I am not sure that I would have been comfortable walking there alone late at night, but during the day and early evening it was fine. There are a few shops locally but mostly the station is the best place to go. You're a bus ride away from the city centre and main tourist places, so if you want to be in the thick of it this would not be the place for you - but for us, it was a great stay in a very comfortable hotel.
“Great hotel and not too bad by bus to Salzburg...”
Loved the hotel. The location was a bit outside of Salzburg and not the greatest area, but it is right near the train station, and a quick bus ride into the old town. The pool is small but we loved it. And not too far of a walk to the Augustiner beer garden...
“Would definitely stay there again”
This is a comfortable hotel near the train station. It's about a 10 min walk to the old city where many of the tourist sites are located (you can also take a bus at the nearby bus/train station). Very professional staff, rooms have AC (not common in Salzburg) and are quite clean. It is similar to a Hilton in the U.S. My only complaint was that the internet, while free, requires that you get a new code from the front desk every hour.

Clean and quiet circumstance. Good bed. Near from central station. Easy to bound from and to other cities.
“They were so helpful”
It was 3 of us in one room for a girly weekend away but the room was still very nice, clean and comfortable. Security was high so you felt really safe and the helpfulness on reception was brilliant. Recommended restaurants advised us on the nicest route to walk into the old town of salzburg. They just couldn't do enough. If I chose to go back to salzburg I would choose the same hotel.
“Very nice hotel in a very nice city!”
Very nice hotel. I cant belive price we paid for service and rooms we get, excellent! Very close to the train station, walk distance with luggage. Not so close to historical center but not expensive in taxi to get there.
“Excellent location”
This hotel is clean, service people are friendly, and I have no issue communicate to them with English. Best of all, it was extremly close to the train station, and within the downtown tourist map, 3 min walk from the train station. It is also very close to many bus terminals.
“excellent for comfort and location”
hotel was great the beds were more than comfortable however down side was 19.00 pounds for breakfast not sure how they can justify this, but would go back

Very close to the main train station. After staying in hostels elsewhere, this was a welcome relief. Very comfortable beds!
