“Recommended Hotel”

Very nice, helpful reception desk. Location is not quite central but an easy 15 minute walk to all the sites. Close to train station without being in a sketchy neighborhood. Very clean, modern hotel.

“Extremely impressed”

Small hotel not far from the center of Salzburg. Very cozy, comfortable, and charming.

“Compact but Great Service”

Although the scale of the hotel is on the smaller size, the friendliness and efficiency of the staff could not have been any better. The hotel is well located and suited for both the business and tourist traveller. We would be happy to go back.

“Friendly and good value”

We were nervous about the hotel after reading some of the reviews but the staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. The room had a fan in it and was always cleaned to a good standard. It took less than 10 minutes to walk into the city centre and we had no problems with the local area. There was a great Italian restaurant linked to the hotel and a cafe next door to buy breakfast for less than the price charged in the hotel.

“Convenient location”

Parking was on street only. We were lucky to find a lot close by on a weekend that meters were not in use and left our car there the entire weekend at no cost. The hotel was as advertised; clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very adequate but very expensive (10.00 euros per person).

“Close to the rail station”

Hotel was close to the rail station and a short walk to the city center. Hotel did not have air comditioning and the street noise was bothersome. Room was nicely decorated but I was not very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful though. It was a liitle expensive for the comfort of the room.

“Nice hotel”

Belmondo is nice. It's about a 10 minute walk from the main train station - or you can take the bus. The bus is very convenient - it's about a 10 minute or so ride to the old center of town by the river. We ate dinner one night at the restaurant on the hotel's back patio - I recommend it. Very good salads and pizza. There is also a nice pastry and coffee shop next door for breakfast. As others have mentioned, you'll want to open the windows to get some fresh air, but you can't for long because the street noise is so loud.

“Cool Little Joint...”

Quite a nice little hotel, not far from the main train station in Salzburg and about 15 minutes walk along the river to the main part of town. Room all good apart from the dogey pillows and the breakfast was ok.. All in all not a bad little joint offering good value for money...

“Good Location but not 4 stars”

Decent location. Its located in the new part of Salzburg while all the tourist places are in the old part. But connectivity is very good so absolutely no issues. Staff speaks English and is quite helpful. But the hotel is not worth 4 stars. Connectivity to the airport is also very good. The hotel is very close to station.

“Pleasant, good value for money”

Nice hotel, about 20 minute walk to old town, short walk from train station. Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable, although not air conditioned. Only slight issue was poorly fitted glass around the shower, which led to a pool of water on the floor.
