Hotel with good location
The hotel name is Schaffenrath, not Amadeo hotel. So while you arrive at location you cannot see Amadeo Hotel but Schaffenrath. No AC on the hotel but they provide fan. Room is big. There is a mall near the hotel, and some restaurants in walking distance.

This is a great hotel located about 5k outside of the old town. Located on a main transportation line you can easily catch a bus to the downtown or enjoy a beautiful stroll along the river. The staff were great at the hotel and there is an amazing on site restaurant.

Excellent setting
Only stayed overnight. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The view from the hotel towards the Alps is excellent.

This place feels like an apartment but homey with sectionals and gathering places. Fresh flowers and lots of Light with windows everywhere. Comfortable and spacious rooms.

The property was a bit worn down but not too bad especially for the money. But it was supposed to be non smoking but my room kept smelling like cigarette smoke!

Nice hotel
The hotel is nice and clean. Close to the city by car. The parking is free. The gym is nice but doesn’t have many things and no air conditioning. There was a noise of drilling in the morning. But overall the hotel is good.

Absolutely delighted
Brilliant hotel. Beds were super comfortable, room was spacious with a fridge and microwave and the hotel was right next to the bus stop into town. The room was immaculately clean, staff were terrific and the small gym set up was perfect for us. Just across the road from a comprehensive shopping centre with a great supermarket.

A bit of Luxury at a Fair Price
Came in before the room was ready but they quickly got it done so we could settle in. Staff was very professional. A more modern hotel, sweeping staircase and central elevator. Views from everywhere as there are windows on all sides. Beautiful snowy mountain view from the upstairs portion of our room. Yes, it had a bedroom upstairs! Tea and coffee with an electric water pitcher in room. It was quite a lovely space. It was a bit of a longer walk to the older section of town but this gave us the opportunity to walk through the University, check out their mall, etc. Food in their mall is delicious! No fast food here!

Check in was friendly. Parking was easy and included. The room was clean and large. We had a kitchen area, balcony, and private bedroom. It was close to the bus stop to get into Salzburg sights. We were only here overnight. I would recommend.

The property is ok. Free underground parking was nice. Room is spacious. Pillows were way to light. Head sunk to the bottom. Little kitchen was nice and hamdy with stove. Needs a coffee maker though. Our room had some crappy tea in it. Over all i was pleased.

Good value hotel for a short stay.
It's not too bad. Despite being a bit dated, the place offers good location for access the town. For a €4.20 you can get a ticket at the buss station which allows travel around the town the whole day. There is a good restaurant near by if you don't want to use the one at the hotel.

I liked property and location. Sadly arriving after midnight we had to spend 25 minutes getting into room as key card didn’t work. No tea facility or place to order hot drink or food at any I e after 6.00. No water bottles or any drinks in one room. Breakfast good and staff as helpful as they could be. Expedia hadn’t sent any emails to confirm the booking and there was no record on my account. I had to check with hotel to actually check we had been booked in.

This hotel is out of the way, not close to any attractions that I could tell, but they do offer bike rental if you want to get around. It has definitely seen much better days. It looks like it was an amazing place a couple decades ago, and hasn’t been tended to since. All the carpet and upholstery is faded and badly stained. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious and the place had free parking and allowed dogs, which was all we needed for a one night road trip stop, however, I would not recommend this hotel without some renovations. I do think it has the potential to be a great place, and I would even say it deserves to be. The view or the mountains is a delightful way to wake up and the room size is magnificent.

Very nice hotel
While this hotel is a little far from the heart of the city (we had to take a bus to get there), it is worth the trip! The staff were very nice, and the hotel is very clean. Our stay was very comfortable and very pleasant.

Good choice of hotel. Close to the city of Salzburg. Transportation was right across the street from hotel and a 15-minute ride to the center of the city. Hotel was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Good location a few minutes from the A10 motorway
In addition to the convenient location, this hotel has a 24hr reception which is ideal if you are travelling in the area. The hotel also has the added bonus of secure parking. It was clean and the rooms well appointed. Breakfast offered a good selection of both food and drinks.

Great team at the Hotel, very helpful.
Very nice, new clean hotel with good access to the Hotel itself and by bus to Salzburg central. Great coffee at the new in house cafe. Despite being next to a main road,the Hotel itself is set back a little and as a light sleeper none of my three nights were disturbed by traffic. The rooms are large, clean with a nice bathroom. The heating/cooling is easy to work and actually works. For me travelling by car the best bonus for me was the secure under ground car park with lift access to all floors.Tea facilities in the room but no coffee! Fridge in room which was handy and large tv with satellite channels. Overall very good and I will use this Hotel again on my next family visit.

Great place for a budget price.

My husband and I booked a room with a patio. Upon checking in and confirming that the room did indeed have a patio, we were informed that the hotel rooms do not have patios only the apartments (which of course are not offered on hotels.com). We were offered an apartment for an additional 80 euros. We did end up upgrading to the apartment because of the balcony. The room was nice but looked like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile.We were very disappointed in the false advertisement that the hotel offered on website. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood close to a shopping mall and a bus stop. It is not near any tourists sites.
