The property is outdated. Mattress is so hard. Service desk doesn’t see you and even though I was in line, they have been addressing everyone (most males) that come to ask something outside any line. Plus, my check out was completed after 3:00 PM, since they had a system problem. At the pool, it took forever for the waiters to take our order (around 1 hour), plus more two hours to have our order. It used to be a great place to stay, but it’s not anymore.

It’s a great hotel. The rooms need some upgrade but the bed is comfortable enough. The manager Mari is a sweet person and help a lot. It’s easy to use the swimming pool and beach one close to other. It’s safe more than other hotels. There is singer during the evening hours singing “bossa nova “ he is great. It’s good to be there to watch and dance. Walk around the hotel is a pleasure way to feel the beach breeze and lights around the property gives you a good and romantic feeling. The breakfast is delicious but it’s missing something coffee or any other things during the breakfast hours and the ladies that clean the tables needs to be happier. But in other ways the hotel is great. I already came several times and I’m going to keep coming. It’s a time to renew your soul.

Lovely stay.
Overall it was good. The check-in was very slow and they forgot to put the keys in the envelope. Not enough waiters, so the service was slow, but the staff was very friendly and nice. The entertainers were lovely. One issue: access for wheelchairs in the outside area us a problem.

They need to change the mattress. They need to give some attention during the breakfast. There’s so many people and we wait a lot for being served and sometimes we need to ask milk and coffee because they are gonna. On the beach they need to give more attention to serve the guests. It looks that we are begging for them to put a chair and umbrella for us. It’s totally different of the pictures when shows all prepared on the sand to the guests.

The property have a great outside area and it is well maintained and divided. The property is well known in Salvador but we can see by the decoration and bedrooms amenities that is in needs of an updated. I was expecting more from it.

In general this is a nice experience for the family. The staff is friendly and the location right on the beach is wonderful. They run out of chairs for lounging if you don’t make it to the main pool area in time. Also there wasn’t really many activities being held aside from some kids programming and a water workout. It would be nice for the front desk to have all of this information as well - they didn’t seem to know or have any specific schedule to share upon check in. The suites are renovated and in better shape than the regular rooms which are still very outdated.

This is a nice place right on the ocean. Prices are very low by American standards. The rooms are nice but dated, like everything in Brazil seems to be. Breakfast is good and the bar is nice. Lunches and dinner are nice but nothing great. Kids will love the pool. I had a great time here. The staff was very nice. Like in most of Brazil, there are very few people who speak English, so plan on listening to some Brazilian language CDs before you go and install google translate and Uber on your phone! The location seems pretty good. Uber or take that state certified taxi.

What a fun great place to stay. This inclusive has everything I would need to enjoy a wonderful week, which is exactly what I did. The black and pool culture is so much fun. The restaurant has a wide selection of great dishes! Would definitely recommend!

Old hotel.. needs an update
The hotel is in a nice area. Beautiful view. Seafront. Nice breakfast. That’s it! The service are terrible. The rooms looks old and dirty.

Hotel needs to improve.
They spent almost one hour to check in. The breakfast is not fresh. Sometimes they use to another day. Some food taste old. They don’t clean really well the rooms. The entry keys don’t work well. The beach towels are hard to find. I never talked to the manager. I believe that she was in vacation. Hahahahaha.

Downbeat Experience
This is a tired old family resort with downbeat staff. It felt as though the staff had been trained not to trust anyone even trust each other., They have draconian policies for payment. Cocktails at the pool were good but you can't pay with touchless which is unhealthy. Getting water delivered to the room required payment by credit card (no cash and nothing can go on an account). The buffet was not well done and the food was dried out and not enjoyable. Long lines for omelets. The safe in our room didn't work and we couldn't get it fixed. I suspect that it was just the batteries but we didn't have any batteries to check that hypothesis. All in all, this was a downbeat experience. Eric

Great place and location.
Amazing place right at the beach, with a nice relaxing pool to enjoy! Breakfast was above average though the food wasn't as fresh as it could have been. The place seemed a little aged inside the rooms.

Nice externally, poor internally
The hotel has a beautiful external area and gardening but the rooms are somewhat run down. The check in is way too bureaucratic and slow. Apart from this, we had a nice stay.

the area is beautiful and the construction is interesting, the people is okay but not well trained mainly waiters, who look like they are not happy to work there. the service at the restaurant is too slow and the food is not well seasoned and prepared.not too tasty. Bathrooms and rooms should be up grated. wifi and internet connection are not working. I was trying to pay fares for my airplane bagage in advance through internet and could not. So I tried through my cell on wifi for 3 times and could not as the connection was failing. So I could not get the discount that you get when you pay before the check in I have a big lost in money because of that.. I lost an equipment (waterpick) because the 220V outlet was not marked as 220, and my equipment was 110V i lioved 8 years in Villas and used to go to Catussaba many times...to spend sundays there with friends... very disappoint ... I'll not be your guest anymore...

The experience at this resort is what it’s all about. Location is amazing- programming is fun and there are lots of things to see and do. They seem to have plenty of traffic flowing through but it doesn’t seem like they invest in the upkeep of their rooms much. They desperately need to upgrade their rooms... from the TVs to the Beds, and the spotty WiFi service. It’s way too expensive not to be able to rest/sleep well at night! We will only ever stay again in the suites next time around which have been renovated most recently. The price difference is so worth it!

I loved the location, since it is in front of the beach. However the rooms were outdated. My mother in law's room smelled like mold. My first room had a leak on the entrance ceiling and the AC was extremely noise. They moved us to a different room that was a bit better. I didn't like that they only have central AC and that we couldn't choose the temperature in our room. I would give 5 stars for the location, and 2 stars for the rooms.

I liked the property environment, staff, and breakfast buffet as well as the pool and water therapy / dance classes. My room was on the bottom floor. It smelled like mold when you first walked into the room but air conditioning helped keep it at bay. The bathroom needs a makeover as there was mold on the ceiling and the mirror should be replaced.

Good place with old and unupdate rooms.
We had so many problem to get in at the room. Every time we need to go to front desk to change the keys. The mattress is old and not confortável. They said that they have a safer but I didn’t see. Only one really old without a locker.
