“Great Place in Salt Lake”
Was a little skeptical at first because I didnt know the Red Lion name, and have been tricked by the pictures posted on line, but what a great find. Free shuttle around town and to and from the airport, everyone there really care bout our stay and comfort. Resturants in the building, Great club on the 13th floor, very comfortable and reasonably priced. Be sure to ask for Fred at the front desk, Danny the van driver and Reed and Mark in the Sky Bar
“good stuff”
Nice and helpfull staff, good location and clean rooms.. You can buy your ski lift tickets just across the hotel.. Booking with expedia was really cheap.. Great place to stay for trying different mountains and slopes everyday.. (Gotta rent a car) Very satisfied overall.. Free airport shuttle works flawlesly.. thumbs up..
“Nice comfortable place to stay”
Recently had the opportunity to stay at the Red Lion Hotel in Salt Lake City. The Hotel was very nice, my room was everything I had hoped for with an excellent view of the Wasatch mountains. Enjoyed a few moments at the "Sky Club" restaurant and bar. The service was excellent throughout my stay.
“Salt Lake...”
Will stay here again. Very nice operation.
“Impressive perks for guests”
During our recent stay at the Red Lion Hotel in Salt Lake City we were very impressed with the amenities offered to us. The pool was clean and available. The rooms were spacious and clean. The wifi service, though a tad slow was available at no additional cost. One of the perks we discovered almost by accident is that the free airport shuttle, when not going to and from the airport may be used by guests on a gratuity only basis. Whatever you think the fare is worth is what you pay.We used this feature several times and found the drivers very likable and friendly, no matter what our requests were. It saved us a bundle in rental fees as well as taxi fares. The longest we had to wait for a ride was 10 minutes.
“Great Hotel”
Red Lion in downtown SLC is a great hotel They care about each guest and work to make sure they give the best service. We used the shuttle to get to a major ebvent in the area. They was quick to respond once the event was complete for pick up. Would recommend and plan to use hotel again when needed in the SLC area.
“A Great Base For Exploring Salt Lake City”
My wife and I stayed at the Red Lion in downtown Salt Lake on our recent vacation. We were unfamiliar with this hotel chain and so we did not know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and comfortable and always ready for us when we returned from our explorations. We had most of our meals at the Cafe Olympus in the hotel. The Cafe Olympus serves a variety of food and we were impressed with the quality, variety and cost. The staff at the restaurant was cheerful and welcoming. I would stay at this hotel again
“Everyone was accommodating.”
I had a smoke alarm that beeped every couple of minutes most of the night. I called the desk at 4:15 in the morning by 4:30 it was taken care of. (I was impressed) Everyone was very accommodatings from the front desk to the maids to van drivers very nice people.
“Impressed”
We have stayed at Red Lion before. I like how clean the rooms are and the lobby staff was very friendly. The price for a room was worth it.
“SOT Meeting”
Although an older hotel, the friendliness of the staff is what made the stay very enjoyable. It is nice to have people smile and say hello when you see them. The small restaurant/bar off the main lobby served very good food and again the staff was very friendly.
