“Will likely go back next year on our trip trip to Alberta from BC”

The room was clean and updated. Service was fine, though continental breakfast wasn't great.

“Convenient location!”

We went ot Salmon Arm in Thanksgiving holiday. Most of large hotels/motels have no rooms available. Super 8 is right next to Highway 1 which is quite convenient to us and there's gas station and restaurant right next to it.

“A pleasant stay.”

The hotel is located on highway 1 about 2 miles from the town centre, and if walking be prepared for a fairly long steep hill. It's worth the walk though. Our check-in was a bit slow and confused, but once in, the room was very clean and tidy, but not very big. We had two main issues, the road noise and the fact that the air conditioner was even noisier. Breakfast was simple but good.

“Don't eat there!”

The room was in desperate need of new carpeting; it had an intense smell of dust. Vending machine snacks had 2011 expiry dates!

“A low point in our trip”

From the curt front desk service to the freight train air conditioner, this hotel disappointed on almost every level. And it's way too expensive for what you actually receive in return. As my 7-year-old said, it's a 'Not Super 8 Hotel'
