“Perfect location”

Great location, just in the middle of a nice street with bars, street players and a short walk to the main square, churches and other. The room was nice and clean.

“A Wonder!!”

We stayed at Hotel Rua twice on our trip to Europe, first for two days and then a few days later for four. We paid between 62 and 65 Euro's a night and for this price it was the best deal on the whole trip! The Desk and Cleaning staff were very friendly, and even spoke a little English! The location is perfect, you are within a mile radius of all of the sites, cathedrals, the university,parks and what seems a thousand cafes! You should remember that this was built in the 1860's so you are not going to get a modern hotel layout. The stairs are narrow, there is a small elevator and the rooms are in odd shapes. We has to enter out bathtub from the end instead of the side. That being said our room was very comfortable and Very Clean! Room service was done daily and new towels were provided, not always the case in Europe. Bring your own washcloth if you use one as they were not provided at any of the places we stayed at. We purchased some in Salamanca. It is located downtown and you can get to it by Taxi however we just walked from the Bus station, it takes about 20 minutes. In Salamanca a steady stream of students are going down the streets with rolling luggage! You will look right in place! Checkout is at Noon and we did not leave town until four, we just asked the staff to hold the luggage and they put it aside for us. My wife and I loved the Hotel Rua, after a long day of site seeing it was like coming home! Would certainly stay again!

“Good price for a reasonable value”

Rua hotel in Salamanca is the typical hotel for comfort stay and great location. No big expectations and no disappointments.
