Best in Salamanca, our hotel of choice
Everything is very professionally managed. Great comfort and hospitality. Beautifully furnished and fitted out with high quality everywhere, including great beds and bedding, bathrooms, breakfasts, secure parking.

What stood out with Hotel Rector was the service. Literally every single employee was singularly focused on making sure our stay was memorable, and it was. We spent 3 weeks in spain and portugal and this hotel was by far the best one of the stay. Highly recommended.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel in September 2023. The staff were very helpful and professional, the room was great, and the location was perfect. It is just outside of the walls of old Salamanca and all of the important sites of the old city are easily walkable. The staff recommended excellent restaurants and got us convenient reservations.

Beautiful hotel, incredible service
5-star in every way. Beautiful boutique hotel, very comfortable room and bed, easy walking to everything, and the best hotel service we've ever experienced -- kudos and thanks to the staff that pampered us like no other. The service started before we arrived, with texts asking our preferences for soap and shampoo. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a charming gentleman who met us at the sidewalk as we pulled up, then took our car to the garage. We later learned he was the owner. At the check in desk, they knew who we were. The only question they asked was whether they could help us with dinner recommendations or reservations. From personal attention to treats in our room to a goody bag for the drive on, they didn't miss an opportunity to make our stay extraordinary.

Hotel Rector was wonderful, Accommodations we're both beautiful and comfortable, and impeccably clean. The staff went out of their way to take care of us. Attention to detail is evident and the surprise touches a treat.

Spectacular boutique hotel.
This place truly is a 5-star boutique hotel. It is gorgeous, extremely comfortable, it smells great, it feels great, the food tastes great! The staff, so friendly and attentive, took care of us impeccably, we really felt pampered there. You arrive at the room and there's an open cold champagne bottle ready for you, they give you a map and on-point recommendations for your 'callejeo' (wandering the streets) of enchanting old Salamanca, they give you a goody bag with water and treats when you leave, they do laundry service, so many details. What a wonderful hotel! As much as we loved all the beautiful places we saw on this trip, Hotel Rector was the #1 highlight! That's how much we LOVED IT!

Great location in a beautiful city. The hotel is of classical design and beautiful. Our room was a good size and there was a bottle of chilled Cava awaiting us. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Would stay here again.

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. A beautifully decorated boutique hotel with terrific staff and facilities. Because it’s small they were able to and did take the time to address any questions or issues this guest had, and always with a smile. Laundry, restaurant recommendations/reservations, local advice—they are your butler. Love to return. They help make a lovely town exquisite.

The room was very comfortable. The service was absolutely wonderful. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. They parked our car, brought our luggage to the room, and made sure that we had everything that we needed: information, food, etc...lovely Hotel!

We received the warmest of welcomes and assistance with our parking and luggage on arrival. We were also given detailed and very useful information about the best sites to visit and some great restaurants which they then booked for us. This is a beautiful medieval city and we were within walking distance of the major attractions, not needing to drive anywhere while we were there. Each day there were special treats left for us when we returned from touring in addition to water and fresh teabags. Fresh milk was supplied on request as well. Breakfast was superb, a combination of a marvelous buffet and eggs cooked to order. nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I just wish it could have been longer. This is an outstanding hotel and they really looked after us.

Hotel Rector is a beautiful and charming boutique hotel within Salamanca! The minute you arrive, you feel welcome, comfortable and appreciated. Fantastic historic building maintained in excellent condition. Great position for visiting Salamanca. Just over the road and you are in the historic centre. The staff were excellent. Directed us to the rear entrance to the parking, assisted with bags to reception. The receptionist gave us a city centre map and recommended some restauraunts to our taste. The room was kept spotless throughout our stay with little treats appearing. Checkout was simple, again assistance was given with bags and the receptionist even backed our car out of the garage for us.

The BEST hotel! Almost a reason to go to Salamanca
This was the best hotel we have EVER stayed in. The staff is AMAZING, the room wonderful, the breakfast more than expected - they took orders for eggs! We loved every aspect of it.
