Beautiful boutique hotel with amazing service. The property is beautiful and very relaxing. Everyone working at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. The shuttle to town or the beach was always readily available and they were quick to pick you up when you were ready to leave. Into town was only about a 5 minute ride. Highly recommend this cute hotel in St Tropez.

I loved La Tartane! The staff was wonderful and so was the location. The property was secluded and peaceful. They had transportation available until midnight which was convenient when going to the beach or the port where there was shopping and restaurants.

This gorgeous property is a gem. The staff's warmth and desire to help, and attention to detail, was above and beyond. The breakfast and setting were lovely and the pool and bar areas are perfect to relax around. The short distance away from town allowed for more nature and beautiful landscaping, and the complimentary transportation to town and beaches and between locations was an added bonus that made everything seamless. While the rooms are not large and fairly basic, they are comfortable and we were out of them almost the whole time anyway! We will definitely be recommending Tartane and staying here again.

We felt welcomed, and as if we had landed in Eden when we walked into La Tartane. Service was excellent. So personal and helpful, but not intrusive. We enjoyed the poolside bar and took advantage of the transportation into town for shopping, dinner, and to the beach club during day. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Can’t wait to go back.

Very quiet and beautiful scenery. Did a good job with renovation since last visit. The staff are incredible- extremely pleasant and accommodating. Will be back!

Excellent Boutique hotel.
Fantastic property with super friendly front desk staff. The villas were amazing and they had shuttle service which was very convenient and always available.

This is not a 5 star property. The electricity was out the first evening and then air conditioning was not working during the next day and the following morning. Had to open the window and loud mist was on until 2 am. The staff was responsive but could not fix the issues. Two old beds are put together to make a double occupancy room. Not the level you expect at the 5 star hotel

Very welcoming however facilities/rooms lack
Cannot fault the service given by all staff who make you feel extremely welcome, however facilities do need a good upgrade especially considering the price being paid daily. If this is rectified it can surely be a 5star experience which is yet not the situation.

Beautiful place byt strange smell in the room!
The hotel is amazing. A little oase in the middle of St. Tropez. But there was a very strange smell in the room which I complained about every night and nothing happened :(

Awesome hotel! Great service and the free shuttle to town and beach is amazing. Shuttle operates till midnight. Pool is pretty nice too. True 5-star European experience. Room is comfortable, not very big but ours had a nice private patio which made up for it. Would go back and stay here.

It was very quiet. A couple of kilometers or so out of st tropez so you need to drive or they have a shuttle bus to drive you down and collect. So very convenient. Our room was a bit small, but overall very comfortable. Staff extremely welcoming and eager to please.

Peaceful oasis in the Côte d’Azur
This hotel, while not strictly within the village of St. Tropez, is a magical and peaceful oasis in the Côte d’Azur. The grounds and restaurants are superb and beautiful, and the accommodations first class. The staff and concierge is also very helpful and professional at every possible instance (thanks Arnaud)! We will recommend this property for a peaceful getaway without doubt, and hope to return again in the future as well!

This hotel was lovely and boutique style. I really enjoyed how it was decorated, and the staff at the front desk, especialy Hassana, were amazing. Restaurant staff were a bit slower, and the bed was quite uncomfortable. However, the shuttle provided by the hotel to town and to the beach as well as the customer service at reception made my stay special. The restaurant is also quite delicious as well, and the breakfast as well.

A truly outstanding secluded hotel in St Tropez
This is arguably one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel is located a short distance from the nearest beach. A free hotel shuttle service is provided to the beach.

Beautiful hotel about 2 miles from St. Tropez. All the amenities of a luxury property. Clean, comfortable, quiet and private. Great pool and common areas. Staff are very helpful. Private shuttle to town for drop off and pickup. Overall an excellent experience.

Photos better than real life.
This hotel certainly looks better in the photos than in reality. It is quite tired and needs a bit of an upgrade & update. The pool has dirty marks on the bottom and the surrounding area looks old. There was no service around the pool at all. Had to go and ask for towels. A long wait for drinks also. This is not a 5 star hotel...more like a 3- 31/2 star hotel. The rooms are cluttered with unnessary stuff leaving little room for iPads, iPhones, sunglasses etc. Again another reason for a revamp. The best service was by the very obliging young guys driving to and from town. They were friendly and efficient. Feels very odd to be using the small side door to the front office for service, check in etc , rather than the front table which is always unattended. Pleasant staff but we would not stay here again and we would not reccomend to others.

The stay was generally good. However, there was one unfortunate incident where we added another room for two nights for a VIP guest, but during the second night, this room was vacated without our knowledge. The staff who took the booking insisted that we had only booked it for one night, but we had a few witnesses that heard otherwise. Fact was that both this staff and the hotel manager kept insisting that they did not make any mistake. Cardinal rule: in the service industry, always give the customer the benefit of the doubt. We were compensated in the end, but a lot of grief and bad feeling could have been avoided if the hotel representatives capitulated in the first place.

We stayed in La Tartane for 3 days and totally enjoyed the amazing room (immediate free upgrade on arrival), awesome service from absolutely everyone, fantastic breakfast and very prompt shuttle bus that took us either to the centre of Saint Tropez or any beach we wanted. The driver was really friendly and offered free beach towels, any info and fresh water. Definitely a 5 star property , will be back for sure .

unbelievable honeymoon
First time in st. Tropez and had no idea where to stay. Rolled the since with La tartene saint amour and my wife and I left thinking we found the best hotel in st. Tropez. This experience with this hotel was the highlight of our honeymoon. They provide a compilmentary shuttle service that will get you back and forth bw the beach and the city center. And the hotel amenities are great - cool bar, great restaurant and solid pool scene. And the staff couldn't be friendlier and/or more accommodating.

My husband and I had a wonderful two night stay at La Tartane. Overall, we loved the hotel - the service was impressive and the grounds beautiful. Our only complaint was the noise factor - the restaurant plays music until late at night and then there's a great deal of activity in the morning. The walls are quite thin so we had a hard time sleeping in. This wasn't a deal-breaker for us, but I would recommend requesting a room in the quieter part of the property. One huge plus - complimentary shuttle to downtown and the beaches.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay in very relaxing surroundings. Have stayed in many luxury hotels with good staff but we must congratulate the manager on having assembled a great team of staff who seemed genuinely only too pleased to help with any request - full marks - we shall return. Hopefully they will have sorted out the poor wi-fi coverage as the signal was very poor in almost all areas except the reception .

Good - but not great..
in the height of the season when its full, i imagine this is a great place to be, but in mid-May with the weather not so good and hardly any other guests staying it lacks the St Tropez 'vibe' which we have experienced so many times before in other hotels nearby. Its further out of town than we imagined and although there is a shuttle we felt a bit isolated. Only real niggle was the terrible smell of the drains just outside our room. When we asked, it was shrugged off with the answer that 'its the humidity'!

Very good!!
The hotel was great and the service as well, but there was a problem with humidity in the rooms. Since all the rooms touch the ground, sometimes you had a smell of mould inside the room. Room service isnt 24hr.
