"Central location. Affordable. Comfortable."
We wanted a good place in Montreal to stay for a single night, near the Cinematheque. We found this perfect one. It's close to Berri-Uqam metro station and to lots of restaurants/bars. I recommend it.

"convenient location, friendly staff."
3 nights: very lucky to get a clean corner room (Queen room has bathtub), so excellent day-lighting + enough space for 2 people. enough outlets for re-charging. each brekkie: a warm pc of pre-sliced baguette plus warm croissant, comes w/ peanut butter, jam, butter, honey (i put in coffee), Tea/Cf, juice box. small fridge is handy since IGA Grocery right across street on St Cath has sushi/cold/hot food take out! then i found the food court (lots of choices) beside IGA leads to Berri-Uq Station which was great since it was raining. plus lots of dining choices St Cath, St Denis nearby. room temp perfect as it got cold in MTL in late Sep, has extra blanket in drawer if needed. one front staff was willing to boil water when i needed, thanks !

"Cute hotel right next to concert venue"
Absolutely loved Hotel Villa!!! Great prices!! It felt more like an apartment/home rather than a hotel. I loved the concept of having hardwood floors rather than carpet that you'll find in most hotels. Felt extremely safe due to the fact that the night staff will only let in hotel guests and not visitors or randoms after a certain time of night. There's a free 15 mins parking space right in front of the hotel in order to load one's car. It was right next door to the concert venue that we were visiting that night. Absolutely perfect!! Could not have asked for a better stay!! ;D

"Spotlessly clean, very nice staff, great location."
I stayed here with my girlfriend for Valentine's Day weekend so we could tour the city and just relax a bit. When we got there the lady at the desk took out a map and showed us where everything in the city was and how to get there and gave some suggestions before showing us to our room. Spotless! The room decor was lovely too. We actually laid back for awhile to comment on how all the colours on the walls, the bedsheets, the paintings all worked with each other. Location is another great thing. You may be initially turned off by seeing the entrance between the booze store and a large sex-shop ( but you forget about it basically the moment you enter the big stairway filled with wonderful paintings of Leonard Cohen and contortionists ), but this is right in the middle of the most exciting part of downtown, good food, a short 10 minute walk from the via rail and literally RIGHT around the corner from the subway station. The continental breakfast was a little pricey but worth the price for sure. I even forgot my glasses there and on our way in to collect our bags (from the baggage room you can leave them in the day of your check out) the man at the front desk recognized us and asked me if they were mine. Very impressed, would definitely recommend and I will very likely be returning next time I see Montreal on my itinerary.

"Reasonably priced and good location"
The appeal of the Hotel isn't in the accommodations as it is in the location and accessibility due to pricing. The rooms are minimal but are clean. It's right on the corner of Rue Sainte Catherine, and there are lots of bars and restaurants right as you walk outside the hotel. This is an ideal place for students to go, as it close to the subway and you can walk around and explore the city. As well, the price is affordable and fair.
