"Repeat Customers"
This is now the third time we have stayed at this hotel and do not consider anywhere else whenever we are in Montreal. The staff are efficient, competent and friendly. The room is spacious and spotlessly clean.

"Ordinary place, good location"
The hotel is just like every other Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton, Sheraton, etc, etc. There is no particular charm to the place, nothing distinctive, but it is certainly adequate. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the swimming pool is small but fine for kids, and the location is fine. Across the street is the Museum of Contemporary Art, definitely worth a visit, and the old city, with its great restaurants, is a quick taxi ride or long stroll.

Hotel Quartier des Spectacles

"In the heart of the action"
Right within Quartier des Spectacle, expect lots of activity right around the hotel. There were three festivals going on simultaneously during our 4 night stay. Pleasantly, despite all the action, the room was quiet enough for our child to get to sleep at a decent hour. Spacious rooms gave us room to spread out, although we didn't spend much time in the room (too much to be seen and experienced). There is an adult shop right next door -- didn't bother us a bit, but visitors should be aware. Nearby to excellent shopping and restaurants. About a kilometre from Old Montreal -- a pleasant walk through Chinatown and older buildings.

"Basic hotel in interesting neighborhood."
Basic hotel, dated and worn but functional and reasonably priced. Bed was comfortable and little seating in the room. Continental breakfast helped get us going but save room for local cuisine. Concierge service is not available but the front desk staff is so helpful and friendly. This is a 4 star for those traveling on a budget, 3 for those with higher standards. No regrets here.
