“Not Impressed”
Please be aware of 2.5-star is obviously different from 3-star. Everywhere of it looks like an old apartment in Toronto. No free breakfast, internet is only good at reception although to be said should work everywhere. My case was not soly since I saw many people were surfing internet at reception area.
“Not Good.”
Upon arrival I was assessed $150.00 security for possible damages, which was refunded at check-out. Damages! The door to my room, and all others that I saw, was scratched, banged up, vineer chipped off; a strip of carpet missing between tile floor exposing cement underfloor; window weatherstripping hanging off; paint splatters on carpet, tissue box, tile floor; furniture old and banged up; only 1 chair in room; shower controls old and broken; 12"closet space. Nice flat screen TV. Desk clerk helped me up to my second floor room w/luggage, no elevator.
“should have been taken down about a decade ago”
Exterior of his hotel sadly needs work, has a lobby apparently exclusively for the use or video gamblers, and is in a bad location.
“Stay away and take off the Expedia list.”
The staff was inconsiderate and rude. There was NO hot water and there take on it was "Too Bad". No attempt at any compensation or consieration there of. There position was "You have to deal with Expedia" we have our money!
“Bugs night out!”
The first clue we had was seeing a pest control vehicle parked out front and the restaurant was closed. The reception clerk did nothing but register us and gave no overview of any thing about the hotel or the area. My wife found a pest trap for either bugs or rodents under the dresser. (fyi it did not catch anything that night) There was mold stain on the ceiling tiles and bathroom. No one dared to use the shower. The lights in the hallway were being repaired and did not work. You would have needed a flashlight to see. The room was very noisy and during the evening there was a constant high pitch sound like a vacuum cleaner working. The next morning I could not get into the lobby area to check out at 7:00am and lodge a complaint. Keep away from this place! We only stayed because it was booked through expedia and could not be cancelled and it was too late when we arrived on a Friday night to find another place.
