Home away from home
This is the first place I have stayed where everything .. and I mean everything .. was thought of. Condiments for cooking , ketchup etc in fridge, vase for flowers, cord for my flip 5 that I forgot at home… and the most thoughtful host I have ever met. The place was so tastefully decorated I felt pampered just walking in the door It was a remarkable find !

The Perfect Stay!
This gorgeous house served as the perfect location for our girls get away. Everything is done and taken care of to the highest quality and standard. The kitchen- amazing! The master bedroom and bathroom- just wow! The view- breathtaking! Very clean and nothing was lacking…they even had beach blankets that we used to sit on the beach for a snack after our hike at New River Beach. Karen was easy to communicate with, check in & out smooth and hot tub a bonus. Totally exceeded expectations.

Bay of Fundy Retreat
This is a lovely property situated right on the Bay of Fundy, about 15 minutes west of Saint John NB. This property is very private and the owners have paid attention to the details that make for a stress free get away. The house is nicely appointed and the kitchen is very well stocked with just about anything you could imagine by way of quality dishes, glassware, large and small appliances, storage containers, you name it . The Master ensuite is gorgeous. We were 5 people and 3 generations and having the separate downstairs bedrooms/bath and family room provided a nice separation for the teenagers when they needed their own space. You could watch the waves roll in and the ships come and go from the distant port from any room in house or even from the hot tub on the lower deck. The expansive views of the Bay were amazing. We were less than 15 minutes to great hiking trails albeit they were not all open when were there due to the season; however we did get to explore Black Beach and some if its trails, which we will be sure to return to in season. The owner was very responsive to any questions.We would recommend this property.

Great mini vacation for the family!
My family and I stayed at Karens house for a week and absolutely loved everything. The house is newly renovated and designed beautifully. Location is absolutely amazing. The wildlife (deer, seals, porpoises) that we saw everyday was a huge hit for the entire family. Couldnt have asked for a more accomdating hostess. Karen made sure we had absolutely everything we needed, including a highchair and playpen for our 1 year old and lots of games and colouring books for our 5 year old. If we're ever back in Saint John, NB. We will definitely be staying here again!

Sweet Time Away
Outstanding accommodations!! Home was perfect!! The views are amazing. Watching the tide coming in & out daily was great!! The wild life of deer, geese, seals and loom were a treat to watch and see. The different colors of rocks when the tide was put was so pretty. Karen made our stay wonderful!! Greeted us with sweet gifts upon arrival, Thank You Karen. Thanks for sharing your home.

Sisters Getaway
Our stay at this rental was great. We had an awesome view of the Bay of Fundy from all areas of the house. Seeing seals resting on the rocks when the tide was out was amazing as we have never seen them in their natural habitat. Also enjoyed the use of the hot tub. The location of this rental was close for us to do day trips to Hopewell Rocks and other attractions. It was just great to sit on their back deck, relaxing and enjoying the view!

Fabulous view of the Fundy Bay
We had a peaceful relaxing time at this beautiful house on the bay. Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. They had just cleaned the hot tub so that was enjoyable. We also enjoyed watching the seals on the rocks right behind the house. Everything was positive about this place and we would like to return again someday. Unforgettable Stay
Do not hesitate to reserve this stunning property. The views of the Bay of Funding are stunning. When the tide goes out, explore the beach in the back yard and dip your toes on the Bay. Seals and porpoises visited daily. We also enjoyed watching the cruise ships come in. The home is exceptional: comfortable, clean, well-outfitted. The neighborhood is very quiet. The location is a short drive to all the sights in St. John and those nearby. In 2019, we stay at this owner's other nearby waterfront property, which was also a great choice.

Spectacular Sunrise
We were 3 friends staying in this house together for 3 days this fall. We had an absolutely beautiful vacation here. Karen is so wonderful, she answered all our questions and left us a wonderful gift. The home is quiet and peaceful. The sunrise is just beautiful and we loved every space in this home from the view to the hot tub. A few notes for others. One bedroom is upstairs and 2 are downstairs. And it is a bit of drive to get into town. Which was fine for us because we had a car, but may be a hike if you are only doing ride shares. It was such a pleasure to stay here. We would absolutely stay here again!

Highly Recommend
Walked through the front door - Wow! What an incredible view! The home is just beautiful - spotless, comfy and has everything you could possibly need. We all enjoyed hunting for rocks and sea glass on the beach, watching the daily antics of the seals on the rocks out front. Bald eagles and lots of birds, deer running by. Just awsome! A few nice outings: Saint Andrews, Saint Martins, Reversing Falls, Irving Nature Park, Saint John City Market. Very close to all stores, etc to get anything you need. Ashley was so nice and very helpful and so quick to get back to me on any questions. Neighbours were so nice and friendly. We got to experience the remnants of hurricane Lee. We took the advice of one of the neighbours and made a drink sat back and just watched the show (all safe and comfy in the house) - it was very cool. We had a wonderful time, so hard to leave! Absolutely stunning!
My husband and I and our two dogs stayed at this gorgeous home on our way back from Nova Scotia as our final stop before traveling back to Massachusetts. The location and the home itself are just beautiful, we felt instantly at home and quite pampered when we stepped in, and our host was super thoughtful and welcoming. We were able to hike and bike at Irving State Park, explore a bit of St. John, and just enjoyed a couple of days of complete relaxation before our trip back to reality. Magnificent house& views with wonderful and responsive owner.
The view is gorgeous but the house is spectacular. It is beautifully decorated and fully equipped. You want for nothing but if you do Karen will quickly respond. Whether you are relaxing inside or sitting in the hot tub enjoying the view of the water…it doesn’t get any better. We are looking for excuses to come back.

Breakwater on the Bay of Fundy
This is a most comfortable home, which has been beautifully renovated and is well-appointed. Standards attained at Breakwater are first-class and "like home" in all respects. The home is on a large property, widely bordering the Bay, with lush lawns and landscaping--so close to the water that the gong of channel markers in the current can be heard through the open windows! The host was available and went above and beyond in being helpful---we were quick to feel we had a friend in our new (too temporary) neighborhood! We had a wonderful 4-week stay at Breakwater.

The pictures don’t do this property justice!
Wow! We had an amazing stay! The rooms are larger than the pictures indicate which was a welcome surprise! The windows in every room with views of the bay were amazing! My children loved playing down on the beach daily! Close enough to make day trips to Hopewell rocks, st Andrews, and much much more! Very close to grocery , gas, everything you’d need without feeling like you are near to those amenities! We will be back as 1 week is not enough!

Ocean front gem
This property was even better in person. It felt like a spa setting. You can tell the host took great care when setting up this Vrbo. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for some ocean front rest and relaxation, but there’s also hiking and many nature activities nearby. Karen was very easy to get in touch with and was great with suggestions in the area. She was kind enough to meet up with us and show us their fishing boat.

Amazing vacation!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful oceanside property. The check-in and out process was easy, the cottage was newly renovated, meticulous and had all the comforts of home. Our host, Karen, was kind and hospitable and provided us with fresh crab and scallops from her fishery for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this property and hope we have an opportunity to stay here again in the future 😁
