“A retenir sur son carnet d'adresses...”
L'endroit rêvé pour séjourner à Paris, à tout point de vue.
“Excellent staff & accomadation.”
Very pleasant greeting and service for the hotel staff. A good walk to the stadium, metro & cash machines around the corner. Center of Paris not to far away and equal distance between central Paris and the airport.
“Do you dare ignore a fire alarm?????”
Just because St. Denis is technically in Paris, do not expect European tourism standards to apply to the surrounding neighbourhood. It is quite dirty and run-down, with a distinctly neglected feel. However, the hotel is within a short walk of the Metro, which is only a few stops from the beautiful historic centre. The hotel itself, for the price offered by Expedia for my stay, is good value for money. Their advertised room rate is diabolically unrealistic, and I'd rather sleep on the street! I also avoided the breakfast at 26 euros, and the secure parking at 16 euros a night. I could also have done without the fire alarm at 8.45 Sunday morning, which had the hotel guests teeming down the stairs (lifts disabled, obviously!) only to find business very much as usual in reception, with people checking-out and having breakfast as though they couldn't hear the alarm. No-one was bothering to leave the building, no staff were ensuring that guests were safe etc., etc. However, it was clean and comfortable, and a well-priced place to stay for a city-break! Thanks Expedia.
“Stealers”
The guys who clean your room are not trustable. I left some money on the desk and didn't find them when came back. I report this to reception and they told me that they can not do anything!! The neighbouring is full of stealers and dangerous. I don't recommend this location.
“Out of the centre but accessible”
Friendly staff and clean hotel. Catering staff and chef try their best and sometimes come up with the goods! Breakfast excellent. Eat main meals out though. The hotel is in an outer suberb (St Denis) which is not the most pleasant area of Paris but it seems safe and the Metro station is two minutes walk around the corner. The trip into the centre of Paris only takes about 15 minutes on the Metro. Free wi-fi in the lobby but you pay for it in your room. If you just need a nice bed for the night, a decent breakfast and clean and comfortable rooms and you don't want the hassle/expense of an over-priced city centre hotel then this might fit the bill.
