Wow, Yummy breakfast and evening "social".

Posted 1-Mar-2015
Pros: The free breakfast and weekday evening dinner! Great for families except walls are thin! If you have a streaming device, like a Roku, no HDMI access
Cons: The hallways, 2nd floor, smell like body odor. Carpets need to be cleaned. Ants need to be gone. Need new furniture!
Location: Target, Panera Bread, MiMis Cafe, Panda express and more right across the street. McDonald's and In and Out nearby. The Sleep Train Arena is close.
We just stayed here for 2 nights with our 4 children ages 5 & under. Here are the pros and the cons: Pros: Excellent hot breakfast! We had omlets, waffles, diced potatoes, biscuits and gravy, eggs, ham, oatmela, fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, muffins, toast, English muffins, hard boiled eggs, juices, soda, 3 varieties of milk, 4 cereals (fruit loops, special K red berries, raisin bran, corn flakes), and more! There were plenty of high chairs. On the weeknights, they have an evening social which includes a meal! The first night was a hot dog buffet (chilli dogs)...we skipped this one. The next night was a full salad bar, spaghetti, and garlic bread. There was one lady running the breakfast buffet and she did an OUTSTANDING job! The staff are all very polite and helpful. Cons: They currently (as of yesterday) have an ant problem! We had ants in our bathroom and kitchen. With 4 little ones and having already unpacked, we didn't want to move. We were told we would be compensated for having to deal with the ant problem. At checkout, I was told that since we booked through a 3rd party site (expedia), they could not give a credit and they would not give cash. I am not too happy about this...especially after having to pick ants off of my 12 mon old in the morning. The manager, Ruth, said she would contact corporate and see if they can do something. I hope they do... will update my review if they don't. Walls are SUPER THIN! Furniture is old. Beds are okay.

Nice room but insufficient breakfast service

Posted 20-Feb-2015
Really nice spacious and clean rooms but staff needs to make breakfast service faster. We went in at 830 am on Saturday for the breakfast and there were no more plates or many food items. The staff/hotel needs to be more prepared and ready and understand that it's a Saturday. The oven being slow or not enough ovens are not good excuses. Otherwise, the hotel room itself was very nice.

Great hotel and great location

I love this hotel I didn't know it was pet friendly so next time I am in Sacramento I will bring my dog. The breakfast was ok they should have a little more variety and better eggs. I really loved our room.

Comforting

Posted 16-Feb-2015
Had a comforting experience at Staybridge. The Staff were great and service was outstanding. Appreciate the staff who were curteous and helpful for example towels, internet connection etc. The receptionist already prepared my checkin and it was express checkin. The rooms were clean and comforting. It near to shopping area, lots of restaurants nearby. Will be back again.

Great One Night Stay

Posted 9-Feb-2015
Pros: The room has all the comforts of "home". It is much quieter than other places I have stayed it in the past. Good breakfast and love coffee available.
Cons: Hard to say about improvements...maybe softer facial tissue....and a nonslip mat in the tub would make it safer.
Location: Lots of restaurants nearby for lunch or dinner. I love the Raley's for any food items you may need.
Returned for the third time to Staybridge Suites. Love this place. Covenant to shopping, restaurants, and freeway.

Close to Airport

Posted 4-Feb-2015
Pros: They serve a pretty good breakfast buffet and to go options if your in a rush. Small kitchen with refrigerator and stove for extended stays.
Cons: The fitness room could use some updating.
Location: Old Sacramento nearby, nice shops and restaurants. Also have a Target across the street in case you forgot anything.
Friendly staff and shuttle service to and from airport.

Nice hotel located close to shops & dining.

This was my first time at a staybridge hotel. I was a little concerned about how it would be. I was pleasantly suprise. The place was fabulous, staff were nice and the food (free) was good. Next time I am traveling I will check for available rooms at staybridge before checking anywhere else! They definitely earned their 4.5 star rating!
