“Great Place to Stay”
Great place, people where friendly, room was clean, and located next to shopping mall with plenty of places to eat.
“Great stay at the Red Lion”
This is an older place that has been updated - new carpets, tile, beds & bedding, furniture, etc. Next to the Arden Mall so very convenient to shopping, dining, freeways, etc. We spent 3 nights there and were treated superbly and would definitely return.
“Loved our stay!”
The hotel was so comfortable, friendly and in a nice area around anything you could need. The room was so big, with a great balcony, & the bed was comfortable, we spent one whole day just laying in the room watching movies. I would recommend this hotel to any and everyone! Great price too!
“Will stay again at this Red Lion if in the area.”
The only complaint is the outside lighting. Had to use headlights to read the room numbers on the door when we went to find the room after registration. Needs brighter entrance lights. Otherwise the room was clean and priced right.
“Great Service, but a building that needs help.”
While the building is somewhat run down, the staff went out of their way to be accomodating. That includes printing and faxing for me at no charge, responding quickly to any request that I had, and recovering a lost item for me and mailing it back to me. The lounge had live entertainment every night of my stay, and service was very good in there as well. And the breakfast that was included in my room rate was by far the best I have ever had at any hotel . . . . . bar none!
“Red Lion”
The only problem with this hotel is the breakfast cafe closes too early and it is a little difficult to actually get onto the premises from the roadway.

great freakin deal
“Dated, maintenance problems”
The front desk staff was exceptional. I rented two rooms with an attaching door for myself and my daughter, In my roon, the front door would not lock at all except with the interior deadbolt, which had clearly been jacked open before without proper repairs. The back door to the balcony would not latch or lock at all and blew open during the night. The next day we were upgraded by the excellent staff to the seven hundred building which was much nicer with huge rooms and building security doors. Still dated in terms of style and TV but extremely comfortable and quiet. I would definitely stay in this building again. The maid service was invisble and excellent. The hotel is in need of an update so I don't recommend it but the excellent staff makes me want to.
“Descent place to stay”
The room was pretty clean and had what I needed for just a couple nights stay. However, the closest ice machine was not working and I was so far away from the main lobby, it was in a differant building, it wasn't worth going to get ice. Finding the entrance to the hotel was a little confusing as well. But once I figured it out it wasn't a problem. Overall, my stay was pretty good. I wouldn't really want to spend much time in the room over an extended period of time. But the location is really good. For me it was all I needed since I was only there to sleep. Not top notch and not at the bottom either.
“Red Lion stay”
Hotel is definately dated, but beds were excellant and room quiet, although, not many people there. The greatest disappointment was after a long day of travel on a Friday, we headed to the in-hotel restaurant which was supposed to be open til 9 pm, was closed at 8 pm, fortunately, there was a mall next door where we found a restaurant. Staff was pleasant., It was much further off the interstate than appeared on the expedia map.
