“Excellent in all respects except parking”
I gave this hotel the highest scores in all respects, was quite pleased and would stay there again with no hesistation. It was new, nicely appointed, friendly staff, etc. Only one caveat: If your car is larger than a compact, you will want to avoid the parking garage. The entrance and exit are so narrow that it is nerve-racking and a pain to negotiate them, and I am not at all a nervous driver. They have off-site parking available somewhere, which I did not use because I was in a compact rental car.
“Great hotel”
Excellent facility. Clean, modern rooms with a new LCD TV. I was very comfortable and had no problem sitting on the furniture, unlike some hotels I've stayed at before.
“Great Night Stay”
I stayed only for one night but everything was great, I definately recommended to everyone.
“Best Wester Med at UC Davis Sacramento April 2012”
In the UC Davis Medical Center boundaries. Continental breakfast included. Modern, only 2 years old and very comfortable and spacious king size room. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
“Nice newer hotel.”
Only drawback is parking. Hotel has a very narrow and downsloping entrance that is quite scary. You may need to ask for a pass to park accross the street.
“Best Western”
Very relaxing and comfortable. Love the twin queen beds and only hotel I have been that has microwave in the room.
“will try this hotel again”
clean and well-organized room, will try this hotel again
“It was better than most.We enjoyed our stay.”
The only problem we had was the underground parking. It was very narrow and only one lane in & out for traffic.
“Not Really Impressed”
Not to bad, friendly service, free WLAN and parking is a plus, breakfast very very basic (and causes a huge amount of one-way plastic trash - not really green as Sacramento wants to be), location quite noisy.
“Modern, clean, secure but isolated and noisy.”
This hotel is a new, clean, nicely appointed and secure place to stay. The hotel however, is located on a fairly busy road and isolated in a medical center/residential community. It is not close to or in walking distance to restaurants or stores. However, they do offer "room service" from an offsite provider who delivers for a fee and vending machines. Parking at this facility is extremely limited and difficult to access underground. If this is full, you must park several blocks away with a permit provided by the hotel. This facility is a great place to stay for someone who is visiting the medical center or nearby residence and should request a room located on an interior hallway. To stay in this area you really need a car but if you have one it is difficult.
