“Good Location”

Easy to get to from BC Ferries and straight shot to downtown Victoria or to the Gardens. Nice staff, clean accomodations. Convenient muffin breakfast bar available with restaurant and fast food near by. Wireless service work well. Would go back.

Extremely helpful front desk service. Great location for the airport and both ferries. Far enough back from the highway so traffic noise is low. Would I go back?? Sure, next time I'm on the Island.

“August Victoria”

The hotel was unaware that I needed handicapped services. They were not notified by Expedia that I had special needs. The clerk was accomadating as much as she could but she was quite annoyed with Expedia for putting her in that position. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The cleaning staff was below standard. During my 5 night stay, the coffee was not cleaned or refilled 3 times and the bed making was little to be desired. One day, she just pulled the covers over the pillows and left it that way. The bedding was not straightened or even done properly. When I notified the front desk, they were very apologetic and said they would talk to her. I liked the staff but not the cleaning staff. The breakfast was light. Coffee, juice, muffins, cold cereal and that was it and repeated every day. Including a hot cereal and varrying the menu would be nice. We all became quite bored with the routine of the same food day after day.

“The best Super 8 we have stayed at”

The staff were really good and friendly. The hotel was close to the Victoria airport and there were a number of good eating spots within 5-10 minutes by car. There is a famous heron nesting colony next to the hotel and us and a number of other guests watched from the car park as the herons defended their yooung against a big bald eagle perched in the trees among them. An incredible free show! Definitely the best Super 8 we have stayed at in terms of cleaniless, breakfast, and obliging staff.

“Convenient Stop Over Hotel”

We used this hotel for the first and last night of our visit. It was close to the airport and was very comfortable. The rooms were clean and equipped with extras like a safe, TV, bar, sitting area and coffee machine with excellent coffee. Coffee and muffins were offered at check out in the lobby. The staff was pleasant and co-operative. We felt it was good value for our money. There is no in hotel restaurant but we knew this in advance. Eating facilities were available in a town near by or across the road.

Hotel was close to freeway and not far to ferry and airport. Walking distance to two restaurants and one convenience store. Not far from gardens. Room was basic with microwave and frig. Nothing extra like pool or spa. Muffins and coffee or juice in am. Hallways were dimly lit with shabby carpet. Place was ok for the price.
