“Great Hotel in Ruidoso”
Well at first my review will seem unsatisfied but keep on reading because this hotel made the best out of a bad situation. First as soon as I arrived to check in I am informed that my reservation didn't go through and that I couldn't stay at this hotel because they were all booked even after my card had already been charged for one night stay. I was enfuriated, where would I stay if all the hotels at Ruidoso, New Mexico were full due to a soccer tournament and a horse race that was taking place on the same weekend? Well the hotel manager said they were going to talk to the people at Expedia and find out what went wrong with my reservation. After a couple of minutes the manager came out and gave me a room, not the one that I had reserved but an upgrade. So instead of having a double bed queen size room bed, I was being upgraded to a king studio for the same price! I was very glad that the management at The Lodge at Sierra Blance were able to accomodate me and my family after the misunderstanding they had between them and Expedia. Great hotel, very nice accomodations, great view to the outdoors, and I am very satisfied with my stay at this hotel.

very nice entry and check in area with fireplace and bar. room was big and roomy for the 2 kids and all the ski gear. enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. we will be going back here for sure, will not look anywhere else.

“Great stay!”
The rooms are very cozy, and great if you are looking for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is great to have so you can cook or just keep left overs safely. Breakfast is excellent! It's a full breakfast, great if you plan on hitting the slopes. Very filling. The hot tub is wonderful! This hotel has everything you need.
“Family friendly and very comfortable”
Pefect place to stay away from the town. Pleasant, comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend this Lodge. Next visit, we plan on getting a Suite, located on the 3rd floor (no noice).

The front desk check-in employee was very pleasant and helpful; the check-out employee not so much. Not rude really just entirely silent. I offered my room number and stated I was checking out and that was the sum of the transaction. Otherwise, I was very pleased w/ the accomodations here and am already recommending to family & coworkers. The king room (not the suite) was huge. You could put 4 people in the bathroom jacuzzi tub. The full-size fridge was perfect for take-out and large bottle beverage storage. The room faced the golf course and the misty sunrises were beautiful. The hot breakfast was great: fresh pancakes, bacon, hash browns, scram eggs and biscuits and gravy along with fresh fruit salad yogurt and cereals. I used the indoor pool and exercise room; very clean. Wished the hot tub was working though. I'll stay here again in the future.
“Ruidoso's Best!”
Very clean! Beds weren't the most comfortable, but better than most hotels. A couple of spots on the walls and ceilings needing patching and painting, but over all a great place to stay!
“Great relaxing choice”
Great customer service, bartender specially nice! Good value for the price. Confortable rooms. It would be better with a restaurant. But breakfast is good! Heated pool and jacuzzi are a Nice relaxing feature!
