The location is fantastic and the customer service was friendly and helpful. The building is dated, cheaply constructed, and run down. The flooring had many chips in the tile, the bathroom sink didnt drain well, the shower and grouting was pretty gross, the kitchen lacked pans and cooking sheets, and the game room was really disappointing. There were only a few working arcade games, that required money to play, a the only free items were ping pong, tick-tack-toe and pac man. They also provide one bundle of firewood at check-in, but no means to light it within the room. The tennis and basketball courts had deflated balls and the jungle gym was unsafe for use. Overall, the stay was ok but it was significantly overpriced for what it offered.

Hidden Gem
If you like to be away from all the buzz and noice of other areas. If you like to be left alone. This place is a hidden Gem that I wish I wouldn’t have to write this review so I could keep it hidden. But I also want to give proper attention to where it’s due and let other families enjoy this place like we did. The host is very friendly and helpful.(I apologize I forgot her name)

Nothing fancy but clean, spacious and really nice staff. Very much a 70’s old school campy vibe…great location and great wifi. Full kitchen with basics and having two separate bedrooms was nice. Living room was a good size and couch was comfy. Would totally stay again.

Loved our cozy cabin!
We absolutely loved these little cabins! They are a bit older so don’t expect modern furnishes, but they are super cozy. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. Had most of what we needed. The pool was heated but still a bit chilly for our liking. The kids had fun. Would stay here again!

Had a lot of things to do. However it didn’t mention that like the pool table was coin operated no ping-pong balls for the ping-pong table he had to I guess bring your own same with the volleyball.

Sweet but rundown
Cheery and quick response from onsite property manager made for a breezy check-in but that is where the sunshine stopped. Dated two bedroom cabin- beyond rustic, into rundown- with burns on the kitchenette and bathroom counters, grime in the shower tub, and an almost total lack of lighting throughout. They couldn’t be bothered to knock the dead bugs from the exposed bulb over the sink or vacuum crumbs from the couch. The beds were marshmallow soft, there was no discernible water pressure- though plenty of hot water for a family of 4. The spirit of this place is kitchy and friendly, but the maintenance was behind the curve and the decor could use some love. We had a great time In Ruidoso but won’t stay again until they complete renovations.

Good deal would stay here again
It was priced similar to motels in the area but is basically an apartment. Was pretty clean but could use some updates especially to the bathroom. Overall it was great and I would stay there again
