The tablet with Aurora notifications makes this property unique and top notch. We stayed for a night to do peak season and low availability on our travel dates but we saw Aurora! Buffet breakfast is also very generous. Highly recommended!

Dear Thea,thank you for your feedback. In our Santa's Igloos we do have tablets with Aurora notifications. In Santa's Hotel Santa Claus we do not have the tablets, because right in the city center it can be hard to see the Auroras, because of the city lights.However we hope you enjoyed your stay in Rovaniemi and you are warmly welcome to visit us again!

Perfect visit
The Santa hotel was wonderful in every way....our arrival, check in was quick and easy and the reception area is/was warm and welcoming ...and beautifully decorated. I was enchanted with families playing in snow right in front of the hotel. And the hotel had a box of toboggans and snow play was encouraged/ Room was super comfortable. Food is restaurant was great and fairly priced. Enjoyed every second there.

Hair in the shower, drain wasn't working, and something purple in the tub. So when I took a shower, there was purple that came up and stayed in the water. It was gross!

The hotel is clean and convenient to a lot of restaurants and shopping area. The breakfast is good and has a lot of selection. I would stay here again and would recommend this hotel to my friends and family members.

Lovely hotel in the centre with lots of restaurants, shopping and walks around. Breakfast is great, lots of choice, big rooms and lovely facilities.

Santa themed hotel
Best place to stay when you are in Rovaniemi, its in the city center. Ten mins ride from the airport as well as the Santa Claus village.

Good hotel but needs improvement. There is not conditioner neither body cream in the bathroom. No soap to wash your hands at the sink. Room was too hot and you can’t lower the temperature. Breakfast needs a lot of improvement. Orange juice is the worst I have ever had. Scramble eggs are terrible. No bottlers of water provided in the room.

Dear Samir, thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. Unfortunately in all of our room types, there isn't conditioner or body cream. Hair/body shampoo and hand soap are included in all of our rooms, but we are sorry that the hand soap was missing in your room and will be more careful that it doesn't happen in the future. If there is something missing from the room, we will always try to help from the reception, if the problem has been brought to our knowledge. We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the heating system. We have a central heating system in the hotel that cannot be adjusted room by room much, and therefore it takes longer for the rooms to cool down.We are also sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy some of the items in breakfast and we will pass the feedback forward. In Finland, the tab water is drinkable, which is one reason, that the water bottles are not provided without extra charge. But we hope that your trip to Rovaniemi went overall well!

Fabulous place to stay, they couldn’t do more for us. Having a disabled member of our family trip this was important for us and they were very helpful. Town around us was lovely and many places to eat out and also go to get a drink.

The room was good and the property was convenient to everything in town, but the real strength was the staff who were wonderful. When the Finnish rail strike happened and we were stuck for how to get to our next destination, Mari became our personal travel agent, even making calls to bus lines to try to help us. Her colleagues were wonderful too.

Extremely nice
Very nice hotel with very helpful staff. I visited from Chicago and I was a solo traveler. The front desk staff were very accommodating when I arrived well before the check-in time. My room was comfortable and clean with a nice view of the city. The hotel is within walking distance of everything (shopping, restaurants, coffee house, bus stop, etc.). I would definitely stay here again.

I like the location - central to the mall and transportation. But there is no gym at the facility. It forced me to walk lots to get my steps so that compensated.
