“Great Location, Incredibly comfortable bed, and a movie location too....”

This was a spectacular stop during my vacation. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I've slept on in years. The Hotel is older and has a great deal of character. During my stay the lobby was being used to film a documentary and it gave the whole experience a very surreal quality that only added to my experience in Rotterdam. There are many great little eateries, bars and shopping locations very close and the walk to the train station is very short. The hotel staff and management were friendly, helpful and very accomidating. I will return to explore more of Rotterdam from this great little hotel.

“Great place to stay”

The staff was very friendly, the area very accessible (by bus, tram, foot, metro). The hotel staff were okay with Dutch flowers in rooms as long as you ask for smoking. The breakfast was wonderful, and a great deal. Next time we come to Rotterdam, we will be staying here. Pros: Staff, location, price, breakfast, Dutch flower friendly Cons: Could have been a bit cleaner in the room, but not dirty.

“Daughter's New Residence - Rotterdam”

We found our stay very enjoyable as the staff were very friendly and helpful, the buffet breakfast catered for every appetite, was with a very short walking distance of many restaurants, bars and shops. It offered the use of free Internet service day and night. The only downside was that as it is an old hotel parts require a bit of redecorating (example the shower room in the en suite - as there was no extractor fax or window, patches needed to be repainted etc - this did not in any way stopped us using it as it was very clean.

“Excellent hotel”

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel located in central Rotterdam close to shops, restaurants and the railway station. The room was clean, had tea and coffee making facilities and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent. There was free internet access in the reception area. We were given vouchers for two free drinks at the bar on arrival. Overall,the hotel was extremely good value for money.

“Excellent Location”

On initial view the hotel seemed grand and posh. This was the same in the entrance hall. the receptionist was very polite, spoke perfect english and gave us some drinks vouchers to the bar. as we went to our room, we could tell the hotel was alot more old fashioned then previously shown. However, the room was large with loads of room, had a big bathroom and was clean. It is situated in the entre of rotterdam with a 2 min walk to most bars and restaurants and the huge shopping area. we walked everywhere. Breakfast was another positive as there was a huge buffet spread. I would definately recommended this hotel to anyone staying in rotterdam.

Its good choice for both business or leisure travellers , good central location with good prices, although they vary from day to day but still affordable.

“'As long as you're not a light sleeper'”

We were over for pre-season football tournament and found the hotel extremely good value for money and the staff very helpful. The nighclub next door posed us no problems.

“Good value for Money”

Hotel is well situated between the station and the shopping centre with easy 15 minute walks or short tram journeys to the tourist attractions. Rooms are basic, but adequate. Can hear noise from night clubs if in back rooms. Bathrooms functional but no soap provided and only one small towel on one night. Breakfast give reasonable range and eat as much as you like. Reception can be slow at answering bell, but very helpful when they do. Hotel telephone system out of action while I was there due to vandalism.
