“Excellent Choice”
We chose this hotel on Expedia because it was very good value and each room had an individual spa with thermal hot water. The upstairs room do not have spas but there is a block of 4 spas for them. There is also a thermally heated swimming pool and gym. Location is also good . It helps to have a car but not essential.Has microwave but no top plate.

The managers Marg and Noel made our trip what it was with their generosity. The hotel is in a great location and extremely affordable for the room size and what it was equipped with. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Rotorua.
“Old but well presented.”
All that was required, Restaurant, Pool, Laundry, Pool, Coffee, Toaster. It was all there. Nothing to complaim about, what more do you need when travelling. The place was old, but in good condition and comfortable.
“Good but a little dated”
Stayed for 5 nights in a 2 bedroom suite. The rooms were a little dated but were quite large. There is a basic kitchen with small fridge, hotplate and microwave. The bathroom was not as clean as it should be (a bit of grime on the shower screen) and could do with a make-over. The water in the bathroom and kitchen is thermally heated and is way too hot - don't let young kids near the hot taps. The fold up sofa beds in the living room are old and uncomfortable to sit on - and I don't think I would want to sleep on one. The rooms are well heated with thermal wall panel heaters (they get very hot though if the control is opened right up). We didn't use any of the facilities but the thermally heated pools and spas looked One gripe is the lack of free internet access. The wireless network ($10 per stay) connected but did not work and the computer in the lobby ($5 per 30 munutes) did not have a printer - not good enough these days when many people need internet. Overall it was a good hotel in a good location close to the city shops.
“Clean, comfy, well priced, no regrets”
Hotel is a bit off the main part of town (5 min drive), but was good and as expected for a hotel in the price range. Most importantly, it was clean and comfy. The pool was very relaxing (the water is very hot, we skipped a spa visit and just went there instead), despite it's slightly aged appearance on the outside. Staff were friendly as well. Would return.

The hotel was small but had all the amenities one needs when only staying a night or two. Clean and quite.
