“Loved it!”

Great stay in a lovely comfortable unit, having the 4 person spa was definitely a bonus. Only stayed the one night, wishing now we had booked for more. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely book to stay here again.

It is old so not the modern feel - which is great, feels comfortable. The outside hot tub was magic....private, under the stars. Would definitely go there again.

Considering the price we paid this was a great place to stay. It's not ultra modern but has everything you need. Loved having an outside bath all of us could fit in.

When we arrived the service and check in was exceptional and hassel free, they were expecting us. Our room far exceeded our expectations, room was very clean, much bigger than expected and the spa tub was awesome. Fully self contained with crockery, cutlery, pots ect. Extra towels and blankets in cupboard. Unit was warm and cosy with the huge heating radiator. Electric blanket . Never heard road noise or our neighbours, good parking and two driveway access into the hotel. Office was well attended. Decor a bit old but clean, tidy and fully functional. Our experience was really enjoyable and comfortable and we will not hesitate to stay again. Great value for money, totally recommend.

“Tidy, Pleasant accomodation.”

The apartment was tidy and well laid out for our needs. The Queen bed mattress had "roll together" going on which made the sleep at night not so great (and we are not a large couple). The individual Spa room was lovely.

First off: the hotel is a bit far from main center of town if you are walking, maybe like a 20 minute walk, there is not really any restaurants really close by, you have to walk a few minutes before finding something good The hotel itself was ok, it's a bit old but it was clean, well furnished, and they had everything I needed. For the price I paid I'm very happy to have stayed here. I found the staff to be super easy to get along with and very supportive. All in all I would recommend this place.

“Great Value in Rotorua”

Great value motel in lower Fenton Road - neat and tidy even though not latest or newest. Great facilities with friendly staff on hand. Will be back.

Nice friendly and helpful staff. Room needs sprucing up and painting. Beds very soft... recommend firmer beds.

“Good review”

Gwendoline Motel was good with excellent service from the staff. But if they come across some difficulty like no hot water in the motel and they try to transfer you to their sister hotel, never say yes to that. Ask them to be put to some other motel or hotel rather than Silver Oaks Resort. Their service really sucks. They give you a time frame of 2 hours to get your room ready but even if you come back after 4 hours the room will not be ready for your check in.

“A great deal in Rotorua”

Gwendoline court was a budget deal and met all our expectations...value for money...roomy and a great kitchen and spa. What more could you want?
