“Great room & indoor waterpark”
The room was very well decorated, spacious, clean, log cabin like and comfortable but the big hit was the indoor waterpark. We also liked some seemingly little things like full length mirror & several large garbage baskets and the fact that everything worked well (e.g. remote, refrigerator, lights, TV, clocks, light bulbs, etc.). The breakfast buffet was not complimentary which we've grown accustomed to and it seemed pricey for it's offering. Food quality was just average or slightly below average. Only low calorie yogurt was available. Fruit was ripe and good tasting, pastry was good, scrambled eggs were blended with cheese & mushroom and tasted good but not ok with kids. Meats were ok. Coffee ran out inside buffet area as well as in lobby and wasn't quickly replenished by young staff persons but seemed to be trying to solve the problem. Waterpark area was rustic themed, attractive, clean, well supervised with a wide range of activities for all ages and comfortably warm water. The size was not too big or small with great array of water slides, great tot area and zero entry walk in format. Staff was very good . . . watchful and gentle with kids. My 2 year old granddaughter (who can be fussy at pools) loved it so much we had to fight with her when it was time to leave. 8 year old loved all of it! My husband appreciated the warm water and lazy river. Only disappointments . . . ice not available on lower level, no room safe & no pay movies available.
“Going back asap!”
The place was even better than the pictures on the web site! Our room wasn't ready when we got there so they upgraded us into a loft room. Couldn't believe how nice every thing was! The staff went out of their way to help us. The kids and I cant wait to go back!!!
“will definitely go back again”
Our room had two queen beds, sofa sleeper, and a fireplace. The room was huge with high ceilings. The entire hotel has a cozy, log cabin feel. Everyone working at the hotel was very friendly. We have absolutely no complaints about our two day stay at the Grand Lodge.

The kids had a great time. Loved the indoor waterpark and the arcade. Would stay again but not for 2 days, one day was plenty I thought.

Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Not only a beautiful place, but an extremely comfortable one as well.

“Mostly Satisfied”
We got to the facility at 3:45pm and were told that check in was not until 4pm and we would need to wait. At 4:20 our rooms still weren't ready. They did do some rearranging (which was nice) and made one room available and gave us a few free drink tickets. We were told repeatedly that we did have the option to use the water park before check-in, but all of our belongings were packed in suitcases which would have been difficult. Once checked in, we went to the water park and had a great time. The children in our group ranged from 2-9years old, and they were all able to enjoy the facility. The rooms were beautiful and probably one of the most comfortable motel beds I ever slept on. The motel only offers continental breakfast Sun-Fri (which was a disappointment) , but did have buffet available to purchase. (we did not eat here.) Overall I thought the motel was a little pricey but was satisfied with our experience. We will probably go back again.

My husband, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed out visit. The coffee there was delicious and was available and "free" throughout the day. The water park was really fun. Having the bedtime story with milk and cookies for kids was a nice touch. We felt so comfortable and cozy in the setting and will definitely be back next year. The only small issue was that some of the towels ( in the room and at the pool), could have been whiter and newer. Enjoy your stay at the Grand Lodge by Stoney Creek!
“Will go back”
Hotel was nice. Rooms clean. Nice decore. Only issue was the lack of 2 man tubes in the water park. What water park does not have enough tubes for their own rides?
“Beautiful place with Excellent Ameneties!”
I took my three children and a few friends to this hotel, and itwas the best indoor waterpark we've ever been to! We had a great time at a reasonable price, and we can't wait to go back!
