Hotel Villa Mercede is a delightful 3 star Hotel ideally located on the slopes of the Roman Castles in a peaceful and panoramic area, far just 10 km from the G.R.A., at 15 minutes from Ciampino Airport of Rome and just at about 40 minutes from Fiumicino’s Airport Leonardo da Vinci. The hotel has 61 air-conditioned rooms, each of them provided with private bathroom,(bath or shower), all the modern conveniences, amenities, and en-suite facilities. All rooms are air-conditioned. Guests are welcome to relax all the year round by our stunning heated pool or by the close sun terrace overlooking Rome. Our shuttle-bus is available during the morning for transfers to the local FFSS stations and city centre, while our large park is available for private cars and buses. The opening of the new restaurant is scheduled in October. Since antiquity Roman Castles were famous as holiday refuges for the élite who could enjoy magnificent villas, gentle breeze and lovely views. Frascati is still today full of charm, warmth and generous hospitality, visited by tourists who love discover local delicacies and tasting good wine surrounded by enchanting panorama.Furthermore, thanks to its proximity to Rome, Hotel Villa Mercede is an ideal starting point for both leisure and business travellers. The bus stop just outside the hotel or Frascati Train Station at about 700 mts are easy transport options to the Eternal City.

Understated elegance and functionality characterize the brand new 61 rooms and suites of Villa Mercede, completely renovated with new furnitures and fixtures in order to ensure maximum comfort. Each room is equipped with LCD 26" and satellite system, minibar, laptop size safe with personnel code, private bathroom, complimentary toiletries, free Wi-Fi, direct dial telephone, air conditioning.For maximum freedom of choice, the Hotel Villa Mercede offers three different accomodations to meet different customer needs: standard rooms without breakfast, superior room and jr suite, with continental buffet breakfast included. Bathrooms include bidets, complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. Wake-up calls and windows that open are also included. Housekeeping is provided.

Dining
The Restaurant "là cucina con vista" is the modern space sofisticated design, unic in his kind with a beautiful viewing kitchen. 2 dining rooms untill 250 persons: one looking over the garden and the other one over looking the panoramic site on Rome. A beautiful place for business lunch and meetings. From our restaurant an amazing sunset of Rome that makes you touch the "città eterna". Executive chef Andrea Sposini.

“Excellent hotel”
The hotel is being extended; it is excellent now and will improve even more. The restaurant has a fantastic menu and an outstanding view over Rome. I can certainly recommend this hotel.
“Short break in Frascati”
Chose the hotel because Frascati it is quite near to Ciampino Airport and on a direct line to Rome main station. It is also in the area that grows excellent wine of the same name. The station is a 20 minute slightly uphill walk from the hotel but the train service is regular, fast & cheap. It only stops twice before Rome and takes about 30 minutes. Thje hotel itself must look splendid in the summer with pool and terraces and sweeping views. Late October however is pretty bleak and windswept. Staff friendly and speak English. Restaurant was only open for complimentary breakfast which was quite acceptable and dinner which was also OK but the menu was very restricted. This may be because it was off season with few guests. Several other restaurants nearby (not walkable really) which offer the usual Italian fare. Not a bad spot and really excellent value for a 3 star hotel. I would use again for trip to Rome.
“confortable mais peu pratique”
Un bon rapport qualite/prix dans l'ensemble. Trois cotes positifs: 1)les chambres sont grandes et confortables 2)l'internet wifi est performant et gratuit 3) les chambres donnant sur cour sont calmes. Points negatifs:1)les moustiques sont omnipresents 2)les murs sont en mauvais etat avec des taches (moustiques ecrases?) 3)le trajet a pied de l'hotel a frascati est peu pratique avec quelques passages dangereux! Preferez un hotel en ville si vous venez en train.
“Do not leave valuables in the room!”
Great Hotel, good value nice reception etc. I staid at a competitive rate. Unfortunately cash was gone out of my suitcase :(
“Good hotel but with bad service”
The reception desk was not very cooperative and responded to my requests very slowly. I requested to change the room but at first one receptionist was reluctant. Later on, I talked to another reception clerk who was more cooperative. Finally, I got a better room with slightly better view but it was noisy because I was able to hear my neighbour and "everything" happening there!.
“OK for passing through”
Disappointed with this. Rooms had very thin walls, but fortunately after the conversation we could nearly hear on the first evening, we were not disturbed. Rooms very basic and clothes space was inadequate. However it had a pool, although small and a good view and we couldn't fault the dinners. It was convenient for the train into Rome and the town itself was a busy little place in the evenings. Adequate base for going into Rome, but that's all.
“decevable”
une chambre très très mal insonorisée, un confort plus que sommaire, une douche sans pommeau du même acabit qu'en cité U. le seul point positif est le petit déj, pas exceptionnel mais agréable, au bord de la piscine.
