“Contemporary and convenient”
We found that Termini was a real hub for touring Rome, so being so close from it is a great bonus. It's not an area to hang out in, but it worked well being based in this area. The hotel itself is excellent. Very new, with a chic design. Breakfast was fine. Others have commented on room size. They are small, but they are like this everywhere. We just want a big comfy bed, cool, quiet air cond, free wifi and a big shower. This hotel has all this and more. Service was good, and even though full, they could give us a late check out until noon. I highly recommend.
“Good stay”
I am fussy about hotel room and Venetia Palace Hotel hasn't let me down. The room is clean, friendly staff, breakfast is OK. I would choose Venetia Palace Hotel next time.
“Hôtel à ne pas manquer, très satisfaits”
Hôtel ultra moderne, très bien situé à deux pas de la gare Termini, donc à proximité du centre historique accéssible à pied Acceuil chaleureux, propreté irréprochable, calme malgré un quartier hyper actif, services gratuits comme salle de sport et sauna hammam Un seul petit bémol: le petit déjeuner qui gagnerait à être plus complet.
“Nice hotel near train station”
We enjoyed our overnight stay before our cruise out of Civitavecchia. The hotel was very accomodating with luggage storage both the day of check in and day of check out. Room was nicely decorated and clean. Good size for Europe/Italy. Reasonable price. Easy to get to train station for transfers to/from airport and cruise terminal and to metro station in Termini to get around Rome cheap (about 2-3 blocks- no hills) although if you have large bags and/or tons of luggage it might be a bit challenging. Neighborhood wasn't terrible but wasn't the best either- use common sense and you should be fine.
-Bonne isolation phonique.Aucun bruit. A recommander +++++ Prestation parfaite. J'y retourne dès que possible.
“PERFECT for a long weekend in rome”
We chose this hotel because of its central location and it proved ideal - literally just a minute's walk from the central Termini station (best starting point for sightseeing as well as airport transfers). Despite this, there was less night-time noise than we've ever had for a city-centre hotel. Everything about the hotel is 'small, but perfectly formed' - modern, comfortable and with a designer feel. The staff were extremely helpful. Their restaurant recommendation (Babbo's) was spot on. We had 3 full-on days exploring Rome and can't wait to go back. We'd definitely stay at the Venetia Palace again.
“Good Hotel near to Termini station”
We stayed overnight at this hotel prior to going on a cruise. It was clean, comfortable and convenient for the station. I was travelling with my teenage daughter and felt completely safe both at the hotel and in the area. Breakfast was buffet style and good. Handy for getting on sight-seeing buses that all started at the station.
“Near Termini & can't wait to go back!”
My boyfriend and I arrived at about noon (before check in time) completely exhilirated but nearing total exhaustion. We stumbled with Italian and the concierge kindly spoke English. As it turned out, our room was actually ready early so we were able to check in and crash for a while. The room was small - but well thought in its layout and the furnishings: modern, light colored walls and woodwork, a glass-topped shelf on the wall to maximize light; a shower, toilet and bidet also thoughtfully laid out. Very nice furnishings and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on - soft sheets and pillows. There was virtually no noise within the hotel - no noisy guests, and street noise was really at a minimum. The other wonderful thing about the room was that it had a balcony that was spacious enough for a table and chairs. There was no spectacular view, but opening the door to let in the breeze in the evening was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent by American standards - all the usual continental offerings plus a buffet of delicious eggs, sausages, bacon and toast for the Americans/English. I felt this hotel had no flaws and I was sorry the hotel was full when I needed to book a return night in Rome. I would absolutely stay here anytime I came to Rome. It was flawless for me. My boyfriend thought the bathroom was a little small, but he's 6'2 and 200 lbs. I'm half his size so I thought it was just right!
“excellent choice”
This was a perfect hotel stay. The hotel is new, bright, cheery, and tastefully appointed. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
“Convenient, clean, excellent staff and wifi!”
Will definitely stay here again. Good buffet, helpful staff, close but not too close to Roma Termini. Good sized room. Free wifi works better in some rooms than others but always good in the lobby. Good restaurant close by.
