I booked this hotel for my first time in Rome, My experience was terrible. There’s no front desk. To find the property was a nightmare. The bathroom smelled terrible. Delayed response from the person who was in charge. I asked for a few more minutes in the room since I have a 15 months old baby but the lady didn’t seem to care. Never found out from the property manager if we can stay. My flight time had changed so I had to leave my luggage in the lobby so I can go have breakfast with my family risking someone stealing my valuables. Keep Me in mind there’s an extra cleaning fee when you get there Ull be charged for. The only good thing is that it was close to the Vatican.

No one was there to let us in, no hot water the entire stay. The emergency number that was available four days no one answered it. All the guests had no hot water. Awful experience.

The host that meet us tried to hustle us for full payment at regular price 370 Euros + 36 Euros per night in cash. She insisted on 36 Euros city tax that had to be paid in cash, or I was asked to leave. When mentioning Expedia, she didn't want to hear it. She just snubbed it and ignored my pre-paid rate. Claimed to send me a receipt by email for the 36 Euros in cash I paid. Never Received It! Not Surprising. Stay Away! This place is a Scam!

Rooms are clean and beautiful. Location is amazing. Everything was good except the airconditoner. The aircon did not work and for 3 nights we felt we used a non aircon room.

The bathroom is not very clean and the room condition is pretty worn out. Shower head is almost broken. Different from the picture. Convenient location but please expect noisy outside. Friendly staff at check in but no breakfast as mentioned in the site.

The place is near to the Vatican, and near to stores and restaurants, I do not have a phone, and the only communication with the personnel was with emails, ( they do not has front desk and the cleaning personnel are there only in the mornings; we stayed for 4 nights and they do not left toilet paper and soap for us... we need to buy them.

Good budget accomodations
No staff usually on site so it can be a challenge checking in, but we didn't have any problems (other people we ran into did, however). The area is awesome, close to metro, bus and tram and lots of restaurants and shops in the area. Walking distance to the Vatican. The rooms are clean, but definitely could use a little TLC as they require paint and a little maintenance. But the beds were comfortable and the staff were very willing to help out. Good budget accommodations - not a hotel, more like a flat or apartment. Wifi worked well.

The room was the best I've ever had in a"cheap" hostel. Spacious, comfortable and clean - the room was furnished better than some more expensive places I've stayed in. Enjoyed very much.

The Hotel staff (KImberly) who spoke English was very obliging,nothing was too mush trouble.The housekeeper who didnt speak any English was very obliging too.For a city break i would recommend this Guest House,for Hospitality and Location.

Convenient!!
Well, this is my second time staying in Vatican City Guest House. Very friendly staffs with multi-lingual capability. It is very near to Metro station (20-30 metres) and St.Peter's Sq. (about 1km). Shopping areas are just within walking distance. I'd say the hotel loacted in a very convenient area for almost everything. Hope to book them again for next trip!!

An amazing few days. Vatican City Guest House is excellent value for money and very clean. Only issue - the bed needs a new mattress! A suggestion: access to a kettle in the kitchen would have been good - even if there had to be a slight increase in the tariff.

Excellent hotel
Excellent service and lovely accommodation very easy 5 minute walk to the Vatican. Extremely clean and breakfast was always delivered at the time requested. If we go back to Rome this is the place I would stay at again. Easy access to public transport. You can also walk about 15 minutes and get a public shuttle bus to and from the airport.

Convenient to trains. Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Cash only, no credit cards accepted. No drinking water in room, you must bring your own. No soap in bathroom, bring your own. Difficult to locate. It is basically one apartment in an old building and the only sign you will find is by the calling button, which you must look carefully to find. No office on the premises, you must call in advance to find someone at the door. Breakfast is a coupon for coffee and croissant at a nearby cafe. Checkout time is 10am, too early for most folks. The charge is 5 euros if you stay even an hour over.

Everything as I expected? Yes and no. The building is not a hotel, but a residential building, however 'Vatican City Guest House' is on the door buzzer. The lobby was looking pretty bad until we realized that they were starting to remodel it. The big surprise was when we walked into the small lobby leading to the rooms. Everything modern, clean, and extremely nice. Private bathroom very clean and modern, bed very comfortable, and the service was absolutely great. Just a few blocks from the Vatican and many great restaurants right around the corner. Oh, and right next door is a little store that has the best 1€ cup of coffee that you will ever have. Don't let the room's price fool you. This was the least expensive room that we stayed in while in Europe, but it was also the best.

Римские каникулы Проживние было комфортным и обсуживание ненавязчивым. Номер отеля чистый, просторный. Нас никто не встретил по указанному на сайте адресу. Мы кое как нашли номер телефона. Нам написали что с нашей бронью проблема и апартаменты заняты. Правда на улице не оставили. Направили по другому адресу неподалёку. Мы как то нашли и прождали часик. В общем всё обошлось. Отель понравился.

Om je veel moeite te besparen boek je dit hotel best NIET! Het hotel ligt vlak naast een luide weg en het is moeilijk te vinden. De naam van het hotel vind je nergens. Je kan maar bepaalde uren inchecken. Als je buiten deze uren zou inchecken moet je nog eens een toeslag betalen. Je hebt ook de kans dat ze je zelf niet meer willen inchecken als je buiten deze uren aanwezig bent. Wij hebben laten weten dat we later toekwamen zodat ze aanwezig zouden zijn. Na een uur in de regen te wachten rond 23u voor het hotel lieten ze ons weten dat we geen slaaplaats hadden voor die nacht omdat ze ons niet meer wilden inchecken. Dit hebben ze zeer onresctvol laten weten en hielpen ons hierna totaal niet meer verder. Slechtste hotel waar ik ooit mee te maken gekregen hebben en zeer onvriendelijke mensen.

Si quieres solo buena ubicación, reserva en este hotel. La habitación está bien pero no muy limpia, la ducha pequeña con apenas agua y no caliente. Cuando llegamos, no estaba preparada la habitación, tuvimos que darnos un largo paseo. Tuvimos dos incidencias y fue complicadísimo contactar con alguien, solo había comunicación mediante mensaje y no contestaba nadie. Estuvimos horas sin tener contestación de ningún responsable. No lo recomiendo

Cela aurait pu être très bien
Le logement, d'un prix abordable, est bien placé, tout près du métro et d'un tram, dans un quartier animé, avec tout ce qu'il faut. Pas de surprise, il est conforme à la description (même si le ménage n'a pas été fait tous les jours comme mentionné). Mais, sauf pour payer les suppléments, on ne correspond avec le loueur que par téléphone ou WhatsApp. Les réactions, même s'il y a urgence, sont particulièrement lentes, voire inexistantes. Pour avoir les clés, c'est compliqué, personne ne vient, nous avons eu la chance qu'il y ait une autre chambre occupée pour nous ouvrir l'accès à l'immeuble. Et quand il n'y a personne ? Enfin, pas d'eau chaude à notre arrivée ni pendant les 5 jours de notre séjour. Nous attendons toujours le geste commercial annoncé.

Le lieu et l’etablis étaient bien. Mais les 30€ de taxes d’arrivee tardive pour une arrivée à 20:45 alors que l’etablissement avait été prévenu d’une arrivée à cette heure ci et avec en plus aucune possibilité par carte, donc uniquement en liquide, sont abusives.

Super Lage, direkt an der Metro Ottaviani! Das muss man sagen. Unten Supermarkt und super Bioladen zum Frühstücken, Lunchen. ABER wir mussten trotz Absprache über eine Stunde in der Hitze warten, bis uns jemand aufschloss. Sehr schräg. Es gibt keine Rezeption, man erreicht telefonisch nie jemanden, nur WhatsApp und es ist sehr sporadisch wie und ob geantwortet wird. Es wurde immer geschrieben, "the girl ist coming" oder "in 1 Min" und insgesamt dauerte es über eine Stunde. Das Zimmer ist sehr laut (Klimaanlage läuft Tag und Nacht auf dem Nachbarbalkon) man guckt durchs Fenster auf eine 2 m entfernte Hauswand, das Bad ist uralt, ebenso der Duschvorhang, das Wasser läuft nicht ab. Für den Preis kann man vielleicht nichts anderes erwarten. Aber die Lage ist wie gesagt top und hat uns etwas entschädigt.

Property is excellent and just live like at home without any owner disturbance. A bit noisy area as on a main road. Overall very good. Just make sure u hv checked in between 3-8 PM else there is a €30 charge for that upto 10 PM and then €50 for further delayed checkin.

Ottima soluzione per soggiornare nei pressi del Vaticano e di bei negozi e ristoranti, con fermata metro linea A sottocasa. Si tratta di un appartamento ristrutturato in cui sono state ricavate 4 camere con bagno privato.A disposizione anche un angolo cucina nell'area comune.

Nous n'avions pas de voiture a Rome et c'est parfait, l'hotel est a distance de marche du Musée duVatican et pres des Resto, boutique. Nous avons acheté sur place dans un kiosque, le Up on Up Off et beaucoup moins dispendieux. Par contre, la chambre est dans un coin quelque peu achalandé. Mais pour la nuit c'est tranquille et sécuritaire. Les déjeuné ordinaires, comme les Romains prennent chaque matin.

Günstig, sauber und sehr zentral
Es handelt sich hierbei um mehrere Appartements welche sich in einem Haus nur ca. 250m Luftlinie vom Vatikan befinden. Zu Fuß erreicht man Vatikan, Petersplatz und Engelsburg bequem. Für alles andere ist eine U-Bahn-Station nur ca 10m vor dem Hauseingang entfernt. Die Zimmer sind für den Preis wirklich gut ausgestattet und sauber. Das Personal ist freundlich. Frühstück gibt es aufs Zimmer (da es keine Lobby oder Speiseräume gibt) und auf Wunsch gibt es auch Kaffee nachgeschenkt. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden angesichts des günstigen Preises.

Questa la pubblicità del Vatican City: Vatican City Guest Housesab 4 luglio 2015 - lun 6 luglio 2015-07-09 residenza nel centro della città, non lontano da Musei Vaticani •COLAZIONE AL BUFFET GRATIS e Wi-Fi gratis Arrivo/Partenza • Orario di check-in 14:00-20:00 • Check-out alle ore 10:00 1)Siamo arrivati alle 14,20( avevamo telefonicamente preso un appuntamento)NON C'ERA NESSUNO. 2)Abbiamo prenotato 2 camere : SOLO 1 AVEVA IL CLIMATIZZATORE FUNZIONANTE ( 3 in una piccola camera dopo ore dall'arrivo!!!!) 3)Pianerottolo con scalini per andare in camera(mia sorella è caduta e si è fatta molto male. 4) NESSUNA ASSISTENZA da non credere. 5) Colazione NON AL BUFFET(PUBBLICITA' INGANNEVOLE!) ma in camera, nella nostra non c'era spazio sufficiente perciò l'abbiamo fatta nell'ingresso ( UNA VERA COSA INDEGNA) 6) NEMMENO UNA MINUSCOLA SAPONETTA! per lavarsi le mani dovevi aprire una bustina di plastica contenente una IMPERCETTIBILE quantità di shampoo/doccia.

Pensavo che fosse amore invece era un calesse.
Non ho trovato nessuno ad accoglierci pur avendo preso un appuntamento; siamo rimasti in attesa dietro una porta chiusa per 20 minuti!Avevamo prenotato 2 camere ma solo in una funzionava il climatizzatore perciò siamo stati costretti a dormire in 3 in una camera.Tra la camera da letto e l'ingresso c'è uno scalino, ci sono le strisce nere per evidenziarlo ma mia sorella è caduta ed oltre a battere fortemente le ginocchia, ha sbattuto la testa allo scalino di fronte!NESSUNO CI POTEVA SOCCORRERE! Avevo letto di una colazione al buffet ma........mai vista una cosa più penosa: un fac-totum arriva verso le 08,30, prepara un caffè con le macchine con le cialde,estrae da una anonimo bustone degl'inmangiabili cornetti e ti chiede se vuoi un po' di latte o del succo d'arancia, il tutto servito all'ingresso ( per questione di spazio) perchè nella nostra camera, col letto aggiunto, a mala pena si camminava! La cosa peggiore? Non avere un referente al quale rivolgersi: abbiamo lasciato le chiavi in camera alla nostra partenza. Di tutto questo ho parlato, telefonicamente, col proprietario! GRAZIE

Отелем мы были очень довольны, чистый, место хорошее, наслаждались только 3 дня. На 3 день в ванной загорелся фен, который был неисправен, его надо было придержать при пользовании.Возгорание к тому же случилось в наше отсутствие. Отель обвинил нас , сказав что номер загорелся из-за нашего выпрямителя для волос. Он лежал на батарейке не включенный в сеть, и никак не мог быть причастным к пожару. Наши все вещи с бутиков для продаж пропахли копотью, упаковку и коробки пришлось выкинуть.У нас теперь проблема при их реализации, а все это стоит немалых денег. При переселении в другой номер личные вещи были переложены по предложенным персоналом в пакеты черные для мусора, потому как свои все были в саже.Уборщица выкинула один из них, а там были дорогая одежда и духи и т. д.. Эмоции от пребывания в этом отеле очень негативные, хотя вначале все было очень хорошо. Обидно что отель пытается обвинить нас в пожаре, пишет письма нашему агенту , который бронировал нам этот номер, что отправит ей отчет о возгорании в номере и понесенных убытках. Хотя она никак не причастна к случившемуся по вине неисправности оборудования в номере пожару.

Muito caro, não vale a pena.
Serviço horrível. Quando cheguei, solicitei uma lampada no quarto e o funcionário disse que traria, mas não trouxe, e nem o vi mais. Não tinha ar condicionado, nem aquecedor funcionando (quebrado ou desativado). O café da manhã era um brioche e uma xícara de café. O elevador é muito pequeno. A sujeira embaixo da cama deve ser da época de Nero. A localização é muito boa, próxima a mercadinhos, estação de metro e restaurantes.
