“Great trip”

Really enjoyed our first visit to Rome. Overall the hotel was good for the price. The hotel let us check in early which was a plus. Small rooms which I think is typical in Rome. I liked that the bathrooms was all tile and very clean, which was a plus. We chose this hotel because the pictures showed that the bathroom was remodeled and the price was good. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful although some clerks spoke little English. The only complaint that I really had with this hotel is that the air conditioning kept going out and the walls were really thin so people standing in the hall can hear any noises coming from the room. If you plan on not making any noise in the room then this is a good place. Next time will find a place with thicker walls.

“Be Warned!”

This is a terrible hotel. Heat is turned off in the evening so if you want to be warm do not stay here. Internet service did not work in the room, the front desk refunded the charge but did nothing to compensate the fact that we booked the hotel because it had internet access available. A window in the bathroom must be opened while showering or the steam will set off a fire alarm. The shower drain did not work either. After running the shower for about three minutes it overflowed and the floor remained wet most of the night. The hotel should be a two star at best. I would only recommend staying here if no other hotels are available, which is the only reason we stayed. Room is also extremely small and out of date. I also asked the front desk about the heat and he initially told me there was a maintenance issue and it would be repaired in the morning, however, the heat worked fine in the lobby and halls. When I confronted him again he informed me that the rooms are electronically controlled and the heat does not run AT ALL at night. This does not do very well if you have to open the window to take a shower. We slept in our jackets all evening to stay warm. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT WASTE MONEY HERE!
